3rd butterfly and I’m gob smacked. Both my parents made very bad choices - but in particular mum, who played havoc in all her children’s life. Grandma (mum’s mum) with whom I ended up at 7 years of age, dominated everyone with all her ”health issues”. I was kept in line with her “mantras” it’ll be your fault if I die or we’ll stick you in a home for difficult children. I’m now 72 years of age and slowly coming to grips with it all. Pile 4. Not gonna lie, this took me 12 days to finish bc I wasn’t ready. You channeled my big brother, he was gunned down outside of an lgbtq club last yr. I remember a month or so before he died, I had found this old ring he once gave me when I was little, and I had held on to it all those yrs and then finally threw it out. You can assume how angry I was that I did that literally so soon before he passed. I was so upset bc that was the only thing I had left of him. After his funeral, I had a 4 hr drive back home, I randomly was guided to pull over at this gas station. In the bathroom when washing my hands, I found this ring , and took it.
