I have raced ACC and Iracing for 2 or 3 years, and absolutely love it. My rig doesn't move unfortunately but it's still very imersive. I can imagine how much better a motion rig set up would be.
Same here - I signed up to iRacing in April 2020 and have been dipping into that and ACC during the Winter times ever since. I first got into sim racing on GP2 on the PC in 1997 👍🏻😊
I do smile widely at your enthusiasm and I think the businessman in you can sense an opportunity. I've never been a fan of driving games but we're talking PS5 at best not this mental SIM racing level :) It did make me think, I remember taking my boy to Legoland Windsor and they had a 4 or 5 dimension experience which at the time I thought what are they on about. In actual fact they had a fan to create wind hitting your body during the experience and they also had flame type explosions where heat was projected towards you - it wasn't a driving game, more a battle scenario, but wow it added those extra dimensions. Now if you can bring that sense of wind / heat etc, or similar to SIM racing you really will have taken it to the next level. As a seasoned sim racer, I ask if you have decided your space in the market, Are you high end with corporate events or retail sales for every person. You say £100-200 a month that may be out reach from the average sim racer, so is this for the car collector man cave. Will the club house be an exclusive members arrangement or open house. Have you engaged with the sim racing community for feedback ? this would be good for exposure there are a lot in this space. All the best with the venture, as you know sim racing costs can spiral out of control, would hate to see you have a room full of dust collectors.
