Thanks for posting these programs they are great 👍
I got this episode on CD when I bought my Dragnet season 1 DVDs (1967)
thanks for the great shows.
This was a good one as usual!!! Thanks for uploading these Dragnet episodes.
As of this broadcast, NBC moved the program up a half-hour to 8:30pm(et) [as noted at 28:08], just before "LUX RADIO THEATER" (in its final season) on Tuesdays.
"That Calendar" was probably the Marilyn Monroe "Golden Dreams" picture, with her nude on red velvet!
Yes, I think you are right. My Dad had it as well! A funny, and subtle, bit of Dragnet humor...
Thank you for posting these episodes !!!
Catchy tune.. I wonder if it was sang by those dancing packs of chesterfields . Boy they tried everything 😎
And now there back ? Oh well .. cigarettes, waterbeds doesn’t matter. Still great shows 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Kermit was also convicted of being a dirty crook!
The burglar cased the joint through the skylight on the roof. It was locked from inside. The front door had an alarm and was locked too. How did they rob the place?
Down through the skylight?
How did they break the skylight if the went in by the door?
I can just see the folks that wrote that Chesterfields jingle . Sitting at a Piano . Ashtray over flowing with Chesterfield butts. A half a dozen empty coffee cups also full of cigarette butts.. that’s how they did it .. oh the life of caffeine and nicotine 😎
25:23 (25:32)
The 8th Commandment of the Bible:
Excerpt from (Exodus 20:15 and Deuteronomy 5:19)
"You shall not steal."
Jack Webb is A Savage!!!
You keep commenting like this on so many Dragnet episodes. BIZARRE........
this is America, she can say what she wants.. we all can … well within reason 😎
Smokers coast to coast with their Big Purple Posts.
They should have used a cordless saws- all.Wouldn’t have been so messy 👍🏼
16:57 A frog 🐸 was selling hot wrist ⌚ watches??? Say it isn't so, KERMIT 😭😂.
The jewelry store owner was the guy who plays Floyd the barber from the Andy Griffen show.
Howard McNear played Floyd the Barber on The Andy Griffith Show. The guy in this episode you refer to was NOT McNear.
I have been a fan of Old-Time Radio for over 30 years and have literally listened to hundreds of OTR episodes and thousands of hours of OTR. The actor you are referring to was not McNear; it was Jonathan Hole. I have heard McNear on MANY OTR episodes (e.g. Gunsmoke, Dragnet, etc.) and the actor you are referring to is definitely NOT him.
@@howardoller443he sounds like Floyd but it's not. It's Jonathan Hole.
@@Cat-rc5bp Yes, I know. I identified Hole as the actor in a comment, which is still visible in the chain, a year ago.
@@howardoller443 yes sir. I was just reaffirming it for the doubters. I looked it up s few years ago. Jonathan is in quite a few other episodes where he sounds even more like McNair
25:31 - They just don't write 'em like that any more, unfortunately....
Amen 👍🏼
It's a nostalgic trip. Cops were the good guys. Cigarette commercials. Much simpler time. Have we fallen that far. Or is this propaganda. Probably somewhere in between.
1950s - No search warrant and no "Miranda". Get past that and you can enjoy these reruns. It's not 🚭 wise 🦉 to smoke extra mild Fatima 🚬⚰️🪦.
Chesterfields but good it is!
