Shuaibi is rushing to resume office, but it might have been wiser to wait for the appeal process to conclude to prevent any potential violence.

@@mercyprevailed2113 Even if the appeal didn’t conclude before the end of the tenure, it’s unlikely the Governor would allow him to perform his duties as Deputy Governor. The role of Deputy Governor is not clearly defined in the Constitution, as he can only act when directed to do so. The best course of action is to win the case in court and claim his benefits.

Performing Deputy governors role is not the most important, he needs protection given to that office and the immunity in that office don't forget the election is approaching and he needs serious protection to also move around during the election and support his preferred candidate and that is the main reason Obaseki removed him from office. Politics in Nigeria is war.

Channels correspondents and other media companies should stop wearing check suits. It's not professional.
Don't they see BBC and CNN. How many times do you see their studio reporters wear check suit.

For how long would Nigerians and Africans at large continue to subject themselves to European and Western useless influences? @OnucheOkpanachi, wearing suites, check or plain has nothing to do with Africa. I would rather see our television personalities put on native dresses made of Kampala or any other native materials. Who says suits are the only professional dress that one can wear on television? Suits are created out of necessity for the West because of their cold weather. Africa is sunny and warm, light dresses should be what we promote. Mental slavery is destroying our heritage as Africans. Let's create and promote our own cultural styles.

This parliament man is talking to fools in his mind. This Govt is the most clueless in the history of Nigeria. These men will acknowledge the fact that there are serious challenges but have not proffered any single solution to the numerous problems the poor masses are facing. Mr parliament, protest is cooking!!
