very relaxing voice to hear after a long day of work🔆
Your tutorial was perfect, well-paced, visually clear, and the formulas were just what I was looking for. Thank you!
This is a very nice tutorial. Just slow enough to follow. And thank you for using a clear and easy to follow voice.

Thanks for the video. Do my final budget always have to be balance? I notice i spent more so its not fully balance. Whats your advice?
Thanks so much! Long ago, I learned excel, but haven't used it of late. Now, I want to learn how to download a bank .csv file into your checkbook register. Do you have a how-to video? Or could I pay you to set this up for me?
Sorry ... I don't have a video for that. And different banks use different csv formats, so it usually requires a 3-step process to get the data into the spreadsheet. Step 1: opening the csv in a spreadsheet, Step 2: reformatting the data to match the register's format, Step 3: copy/paste. In some cases, you may be able to skip step 2 if you copy/paste one column of info at a time and use Paste Special > Values only. See www.vertex42.com/excel-consulting.html for recommendations on Excel consulting.
Thank you for your reply. The consultants you listed seem more business-oriented. My job is small in comparison. :)
I was able to download the calendar with no problem but family budget planner won't load to google drive.
The household budget appears to be perfect for me. I want to know HOW to delete entire categories e,g. Pets, Business expense,. Then there. And how to extend the printed page . And place ‘School Tuition ( for lifelong learning) under obligations) finally where do I find a annual sheet that mirrors the monthly.
I assume you are talking about this household budget spreadsheet (instead of the example shown in this video): www.vertex42.com/ExcelTemplates/monthly-household-budget.html
Yearly Version with similar categories: www.vertex42.com/ExcelTemplates/family-budget-planner.html
To delete an entire section, just select the cells and delete them, shifting the other cells up. You can insert in a similar manner. Play with a backup copy of the spreadsheet to experiment with inserting and deleting and modifying categories.
If you want something the integrates the budget with tracking and monthly/yearly reports, try the money management template: www.vertex42.com/ExcelTemplates/money-management-template.html
