great update, curious about your pruning test results, i did cut back our Primark to 36 inches in the spring, there were not many leaves at the time our winters are colder. there is some information out there suggesting cutting all the canes to the ground for the winter. this does not make sense unless you want to loose production or need to manage, a mess? but the canes or thornless compared to most brambles easy to manage..
Test is still ongoing but data suggests it reduced output by about 50%. I think a lot of producers harvest only the Primocane crop. Dr. Clark indicated that a low Primocane crop frequently is followed by a large florocane harvest, son I suppose it could work both ways.
Awesome time lapse
Thanks Earl for the video. Greetings from Central Alabama.
Howdy Eddie, I appreciate it,

Thanks. I may make another here in the next couple of weeks. They are really starting to turn on the blooms.

*****Update June 2023*****. In the end, the plants that were trimmed performed just as well as the untrimmed plants******

Pine bark mulch is needed.
Why do you recommend Pine Bark mulch?
Hi Earl, curious to know where you are growing these in North Florida? Thanks.
