Thanks for these videos. Massive help to a motorhome newbie. 👍🏻 We collected our Ducato based T-line 740 at the weekend and I’ve used a load of your vids/info so far. Subscribed! 😎
Thanks. Appreciate your support. Channels frequently ask viewers to subscribe which we understand can be annoying but RUclips looks for this (and other metrics) and is key to helping a channel to grow. We wish you many happy travels in your new van.
New Trend owner here in NZ. Thank you very much for this explanation and your other useful how to videos. I have a button the looks like a vehicle with a weight on the back and a broken arrow through the vehicle with an angle through the bottom end of the arrow. Any ideas what this is for?
Thanks. The button is for a heated rear window (which of course isn’t fitted) and mirrors so for our vans this is what the button does. Thanks for watching and your feedback.
Saw these yesterday on mine while was cleaning it out after our last trip out with 2 messy kids 😭😭found another button yesterday that I was interested in but manual says it’s a self Levelling button with settings do you no much about this one as I am intrigued now to what it does says in manual there is 7 settings programmed into it does this change ride height for uneven sites do you know?? Also going on rode trip soon doing kent coast soon 12 days of bliss in the motor home 😀😀
@@LiveforTravel hi Paul thanks for reply I mean it doesn’t look after market like the other original buttons in the motor home but will email you later when am bk from work many thanks Jeff 👍🏽👍🏽
Hi, we've had our motorhome since March and I've just spotted a heated rear window button, but we've no rear window! As it lights up when I press it I think it may heat the door mirrors?
HDC I use when descending really steep gradients on the Scottish country roads where there are warning signs “1:12” “engage low gear” for example. You would normally slow down and engage a low gear, eg 2nd then you can go down the steep hill, steering round the corners without trying to brake at the same time. There have been a couple of hair-pin bends that have even got me worried, but the van handled them well. Eg the coast road from Cambletown to the most southern beach.

Thanks 👍
Good stuff. Very informative.
Glad it was helpful!

@@allye5949thanks. I believe it is fitted to automatic vehicles only and is used to hold lower gears for longer when heavily loaded and going up hill.
Excellent stuff. Off to pick up a Tribute T-736 tomorrow which I believe had the Drivers Pack installed when new so has these functions.
Thanks for watching. All the best with your new van.
Thanks for sharing this :-)

I don’t know. That might be an aftermarket fitting. Feel free to email me a pic if you like livefortraveluk@gmail.com

Which make of base vehicle is it? Many vehicles heat the door mirrors when the rear heated screen is on.
@@LiveforTravel Fiat Ducato, same base model, although older, as yours and I noticed you had the button as well
Yes it should heat the mirrors when used.
Thanks for that, trying not to watch the football 'cos I'm expecting the worst!!!

I’m conscious of the weight when going down hill although the 9 speed auto keeps the gears low.
