I have always loved this song but it hit extra hard today. My grandmother died yesterday (Monday) and on Friday my wife and I will be saying goodbye to our 18 yo cat. Yaad, Tu jiyaa.
I Know Your Grandmom and Your Cat has faded into all the love and peace they have received in this lifetime..they have found the destiny they wanted. Love to you all
As a dog person, this is the most beautiful song ever made. I cry every time I hear it. Always makes me think of new tattoos for my old dog Waffles. Thanks for reviewing this video.
5 seconds into this song and I'm crying... This song is beautiful, but it hits like a truck... We lost our dog Molly back in march.. The first dog i ever had, and the first dog my wife and I had together. she was our life! We don't have kids so Molly was our child! It still hurts so damn much! She took a part of us with her.... People say time heal all wounds, but when does it start? When does the pain fade? When does the sorrow become easier to bear? After 7 months we are still broken..
Love from India..... metal is thriving....people think metal is about noise....I thought this too..but I am changed and reformed from bloodywood....I hope these guys blast and make fire!!!! edit- I translated because I suck at english so dont mind grammatical errors
A lot of it is still about noise, which is why this is the only song of theirs I actually like musically. The others have too many parts where the arrangement of the music is just noise.
Was crying with you all the way bro, love your pets, they give you so much unconditional love. They are not like humans who want this and that, they just want feeding and love x
Skule, we all knew this day was inevitable. Edit: Don't worry, this is the umpteenth time I've heard this, and I was a blubbering mess right along with you.
The title Yaad means 'In Memory', the video has been specifically about a dog, yes, but the lyrics in general point to the loss of a companion, a soulmate. So it could be related to anyone or anything. It's a beautiful song and I'm glad some Indian brethrens are making such music (finally!)
I just found Bloody Wood a couple days ago, and haven't watched anything but reactions to their videos (and the originals as well, of course). I have heard about the subject matter of this video and have been nervous to watch it because I have cried at almost every other song of theirs, and this one hits a VERY sensitive area for me (as it is for many). Thank you for being a reactor that I trust enough to "hold my hand" so to speak in my virst viewing. (I'm at the beginning of the video as I type this. We'll see how it goes. :)
Thank you. I survived without turning into a complete puddle. I will say though that the part that stabbed me right to the core of my heart was at the end when he was talking aobut worrying if you did enough or did the right thing for your pet and then saying that they give the gift of unconditional love and forgiveness. Even just typing it, I'm tearing up again. Thank you for this video and being someone that I could experience this for the first time with. I usually try to watch the original video first, but I was too nervous to do that with this one.
I lost my puppy friend few month before the first time I saw this video. Today, when I see this beauty, I start crying before they start😅 TX for this reaction
I'm insanely in love with this band, and this song. Had no idea it was about dogs, but felt it is about loss, and strangely when I listen to it it makes me think about the loss of so many wild species- sadly caused by ours .
Who is this Bloodywood? and what have they done to the other Bloodywood? ... what a competent band, to also be able to pull on your heartstrings like this! :D
I lost two dogs, both as pups. The first one was killed by the sons of my House owner in 1987. The second darling decided to be a hero when a burglar came to rob us and paid with his life. This was in 1992. It's been 32 years and i still haven't got the guts to get another canine brother. I'm a 42 year old guy who still cries for my canine brothers Brownie and Geno.
It's probably the Bloodywood song I've listened to the least. That's not because it's a bad song at all. Most of us have lost pets and I remember watching another reactor when this came out, who had just lost his boy. He started crying, I started crying. It's a great song but I skip it when I'm on the train. Not going to cry in public.
I knew you went to grab Chewie before wrapping up. He was probably like "Why is he squeezing me so hard today?". Anywho, despite making you and a bunch of people cry, Bloodywood did a great job with the song and the proactive attitude to do something about the subject. Next time, add a link to a Kleenex commercial. Much needed.
I wish they'd do more like this. They can do really good melodic stuff, and really good rhythmic hip-hoppy stuff too. But they mainly focus on the growly and grindy metal stuff, which is just not my thing at all.
I am so sorry that your fans hate you. I tell everyone to only watch this video if they are in a very good place emotionally, and you were not. I am so, so sorry. I look forward to watching more of your Bloodywood reactions. You seem very sincere and thoughtful, and your dog is cute AF.
I love this song but it hits so hard when you realise Raoul Kerr's words in English are the dog speaking from the beyond, at least that is how it came across to me.
Hands down Karan's best solo
Lol, it's his only solo (on guitar anyways). And it's awesome.

Yaad, Tu jiyaa.
Oh man. So sorry to hear that. Best regards to you. Love from a finnish metal head.

Every. Damn. Time.
I can't not cry when I watch this video. I'm gonna go hug my dog. Again.
this is song is not only for the pets that had passes away..
this is also for those people and their memories we had...
100% absolutely

My lovely animals that aren't with me anymore popped up in my I head and the tears won't stop❤️
Jayant is a metal angel in this
Skule, we all knew this day was inevitable.

Beautiful song. And your emotional reaction made my eyes tear up….
and the song is for leftover memories (yaadein- यादें ) and their meaning and love (प्यार ) after they are no more with us.
If you know Raoul's solo work, you know "no bullshit" is definitely one of his slogans.
"No bullshit, no hypocrisy"
Damn, that is probably my favorite one from them. Great reaction Richard...

Thank you for having another go at this video, and for sharing your reaction with us! ❤Wishing you and Chewy many many years of happy life together! 🙏
The man who cries is the most strongest❤❤❤
That guitar solo is incredible. One of the best I have ever heard and I have heard them all.
The guitarist can also play flute and replacing solo guitar with the flute..the fucking flute!
That last scene.. I bawled.
I had the exact reaction that you had. One story ends and someone's new story starts.
You posted it!!! You said you wouldn't but Im so stoked that you did. Can't wait to watch.
"How bad do you want a Tu Jiyaa tattoo on your body?" I´ve been thinking about it since the first time i heard this song!
I think its time.
heck, I'm tempted and I don't even have tattoos...

Our boys are finally on the map - this track gets me every time it's my fave by them my white lab rules ❤
This is how good this song is. How many songs are out there that can do this to a man? I know there are few and this is one of those masterpieces.
I lost my puppy friend few month before the first time I saw this video. Today, when I see this beauty, I start crying before they start😅 TX for this reaction
Bloody Ninja onions .... every time i sit down to watch this song they attack me .
This may hands down the best "dammit I'm crying joke"... XD
Every song of theirs is so good but this is SO GOOD
What a great reaction video! So honest .
I'm not crying you are 🤣🤣
Shut up my eyes are just keeping my cheeks from drying out…. #stayhydrated
I made it to where he opened the camcorder.

Well, crap...I haven't even watched this yet & I'm tearing up over the comments...nope, won't make it through the whole video, either... 🐕

I can't just can't understand how human being can find in himself this,, need,, of hurting others, pets.. It's beyond me
❤

🥰🥰🥰🥰
' Tu jiyaa ' technically means You Lived
However in context with the lyrics it means You Live On
Glad you finally posted this. It's better out then in!
if you need a tattoo, i hope you get in devnagri script (hindi script) it would look cool I guess
tu jiya- तू जिया
I could totally identify with your emotions 😢...lost my dog too
That's not a Dhol. That's Tabla. It's a 2 piece percussion instrument.
It's pronounced "KUH-run".
If you okay with INDI POP... check out HANCOCK by DINO JAMES for similar emotions.
Great message, now start applying the lessons to other animals.
Dude, if you did not cry, I would be ANGRY AT YOU… who don’t cry, never had that felling…

I love this song but it hits so hard when you realise Raoul Kerr's words in English are the dog speaking from the beyond, at least that is how it came across to me.
