Only recently discovered Hiren’s tools. I love it.
I use several CD's Hiren's and Trinity are on the top of mylist.
Hirens boot CD is the holy grail of rescue and recovery. It's mandatory to have both a CD and USB bootable version to tackle just about anything you come up against.
I use Hiren's boot cd all of the time. It's a great go to tool. I also use a couple of others like Ultimate Boot CD and BartPE.
There will be NO universe without Hiren's BootCD !

FYI: The paid version of Konboot does work with Windows 7 x64.
Used it multiple times at work on x32/x64 Windows 7 and it works like a charm.
@bfudge85 You should use a Windows CD to fix your MBR/Bootsector, just copying files doesn't let the BIOS what to do with them. Fixing from linux also doesn't work, because how is linux supposed to install a Windows bootloader?
@SuperDeadProductions i didnt say that i was saying that from my perspective because i am from the US. When you refer to it being early in the morning or late at night are you implying that only people from outside the US sleep?

Hiren's has been trying to be more legal in recent additions. For the most part if you remove Mini XP & some of the DOS, you're legal as a smeagol! Not sure what that means, but surely the all seeing eye doesn't care...

i use mutisystem to install the hirens iso on my usb, as well as other isos. this app runs in linux. look up "MultiSystem - Create a MultiBoot USB from Linux"

Hiren's BootCD contains pirated software. Plenty of legitimate alternatives.
After choosing HDAT2 option, It says "DETECTED 0 devices sorry nothing to do" wtf :'(

Ubuntu 12.10 sleep mode failure make Hirens a life saver! Now just to delete Ubuntu and move on.
I have a problem! when I go to "Dos Programs (Alternative Boot Method)", it says : loading/HBCD/Boot/memdisk.. (blah blah and then)... loading boot sector....booting... aaand nothing! it won't go to the other screen with options! pls help!
what did you do in this situation? Did it solve the problem

First time using Hiren's boot cd. Trying to fix a corrupted windows xp sp2 partition which I cannot boot into. I keep on getting the error "stop 0x07b" error whenever I try and boot into my hard disk.
