I bought my 3 days ago and I cant seem to put it them down to relax for just 30minutes I found my self holding it even watching tv . This phone is the best amoung the rest! Believe me.
I have had this phone for a month now and it suits me to a tee. This phone doesn't even seem big once you have it and use it. Matter of fact I now perceive all other smartphones as miniature it's actually quite funny. I cannot go back to small phones again, so samsung better keep up with the note brand in the future.
Thank you for your response. I think I may have solved the problem. The account wasn't getting deleted, just the emails themselves. For instance, on my old phone, it would list all my emails, past and present until I deleted them myself but this phone was deleting them automatically and they'd be gone the next day. I think I fixed it though and I'm not sure how. Just by messing with it but now the emails are staying on until I delete them. Thank you for trying to help! I appreciate it!!
This phone is a absolute beast. Upgraded from the Note 2 to the Note 3 and the difference is major. The Note 2 is a great device but the Note 3 is better on every level.

Thanks for the tutorial! Just want to say the voice command also works with the camera. You can say cheese or something it will shoot the photo. Also instead of using the keyboard, you can hover the pen into the left upper corner of an input field/box (such as a search box, name, address,etc.) and a small indicator will appear, tap on it and a pop-up box will appear where you can actually hand-write your information. Between my Note 3 and my Note 10.1 2014 Edition, that's all what I do besides actual working, eating, driving, and sleeping!
Widgets are added directly from the lock screen; expand the clock widget that is on the default lock screen and then swipe to the left for more widgets. Swipe to the left for shortcuts
you could use the "golf" feature for all types of movement that needs to be tweaked such as a golf swing, weight lifting form, shooting stances, baseball bat swing etc etc

The Golf mode in the camera application could probably be used to analyse technique and form in things like kicking, bat swinging etc to see how you do.

The golf option works well with any sport where you swing or shoot...sports mode is more for quick movements like skating, skate boarding ect. The golf works well with a baseball swing or shooting a basket ball so the player (or coach) can later critique it. Also like some one said the note was marketed as a corporate phone and those big wigs love to play golf and critique and improve there swing @ The Driving Range
I would love to see a video with more tios and tricks. I just got my note 3 and still getting used to it. I bought it for business and would love to learn every feature i can so i can get the most out of my phone.
I actually just went back to this phone. I liked it so much. Just hate the bloatware. Turned off as much as I could. Tweeked it with speed tips. Thanks for the tips Kellan. Really made me enjoy the phone more. They cut out some of the gimmicks in the 4 . I like the gimmicks.
I don't have this phone (yet) but it seems "Golf" photo mode might be useful for group shots IF I understand correctly... It takes a short video which you can scrub back and forth through... Then, IF you can save an image from that video, you could get perfect shots with no one blinking or pulling a face
I think they added the gulf mode to the camera because sometimes you want to take a sports shot but you're standing to close to the action. An example might be bowling, I tried using sports mode to capture it, but I apparently was too close and the people throwing didn't move enough.
One thing I discovered is the screen rotation is now app specific, so if your in gallery and turn it on and go back to home and turn it off the phone remembers the next time you open the gallery.
These should be called Android for dummies these r not tricks or tips there things most people know out of the box. Anyways nice quality video brother..
Got a Note 3 yesterday and just to make one point - although you can use an old style mini USB charger to charge it, you cannot use the Note 3's charger to charge anything else as it is too wide.

you have to go into settings and set it to the camera when you swipe right...I believe it is settings...i was playing with mine yesterday and managed to do it but i am pretty sure it is in settings...somewhere hope this helps
Mine doesn't have the search option in the settings menu but you can search for settings the same way from the s finder. If you want to turn off bluetooth for example , you just type bluetooth in the s finder and the toggle pops up

I use an ipad for watching movies and netflix and honestly mate, it's up to you. Note 3 is 100-150 more with a contract, iphone can transfer data easier to your ipad if you use it for school/business. I guess it depends how much you use your ipad. I personally just like big screens.

Thanks for the video. Would like to know how to take a screen shot and then use the pen to select an object from it and then remove the background. From there, export the object to scrapbook or save as a JPG or whatever.
you can do that directly by pressing and holding the action button and drawing roughly around the object you want to save and then a magnet shape option on top will appear where it will help you to select the object more accurately and it will give you a different options for apps you can save it to . take care

My upgrade is due this month and I've been looking at three phones, Note 3 Xperia Z1 and LG G2. Along with the Moto X, S4, HTC One as reliable backups should I be unable to choose. I've been using videos like yours to help me decide. However, I'm still waiting on Google to announce the Nexus 5 first, but I really do appreciate your videos, very good.

If you have a password set in the lock screen you can't use the widgets or short cut option for you that are missing them......

Get the "Bluetooth On/Off" widget from Play Store. Only takes up same space as an icon.
The best phone ever. Battery life is just next to LG G2.
