By far the closest I've heard anyone come to Van Halen. The guitarist has all the chops, but far more importantly, the joy and soul of Ed's playing. Drumming is spot on and the lead vocal takes on a bear and wrestles it to the ground. RIP Eddie.

Excellent cover of one of my favorite Sammy Hagar-era Van Halen songs. I wore out two cassette tapes of the "5150" album. Thank God for CDs! RIP Eddie Van Halen. True legends never really die.
Sammy's style uses a lot of chest voice while the singer here uses a lot more head voice that's why he sounds "thin" (like Axl Rose or Sebastian Bach). It's much easier to your voice box to sound thin when singing high notes. But how it fits to the song is a different question.
Ok I keep watching this video over and over again and am blown away ever time! Sal’s voice is perfectly suited for this song! His range is awesome! I love the expressions on Luke’s face while he’s shredding Eddies licks and lead! And Josh is just having tons of fun playing the keys, bass and drums! Rock on boys! 👊

But haven't met anyone who can sound like Sammy Hagar and sing the whole song without sounding fatigued and pitchy towards the middle.
