Hi, there's the red wire you show and say doesn't have to be connected but there are also another 2 red wires that connect together. When I connect them together I get no power and when I try with the other one I get no power. I had to cut the plug off and wire it to the battery but the canbus doesn't control the steering controls and the passenger airbag light says disconnected. The stereo works fine though.

Hi it mentions in video need to connect two wires in loom together but then it doesn't show which ones can you advise please ?
and also do you have to connect anything back into the old stereo or everything works from the android only ? Many thanks

Hi don't have to connect anything in old stereo, works straight from Android, probably you talking about fan connector which got two wires in it

Hello,
If you have already installed the TomTom navigation system you should remove left air vents and push out the cluster. Once you remove the cluster you will see a cable with a gray connector. You need this connector to connect it to your new multimedia system.
I'm in the same situation and I found the anwser in another video. :))
