I very much agree that you don't need Magnacut on this gentleman's folder!!
I much prefer the CPM20Cv it already has.
Seems like Magnacut was introduced and all the sudden people who've never seen it, nor used it, nor have any experience with it have blindly jumped on the "hype" bandwagon. It's been automatically crowned as the king.
My main priority is Edge retention and from the chart I saw, m390, 20cv, 204p as well as several others are undoubtedly superior to Magnacut in edge retention... So magnacut definitely does not appeal to me like it would to others with different priorities.
Note: I have no personal experience, yet.

Try orientating the knife so you’re using the tip of thumb to push lock bar right to left instead of pushing forward from the side. Basically roll it inward like you were lefty so you push inward then over. I have to do this with some liners that sit flush with scale.

I was really tempted on a flipper version but the lock rock really turned me off 🤷‍♂️

Yeah my clip sucked, couldn’t get it on jeans or khaki shorts. A little bend fixed it, but I think they could add a touch more ramp to it and that would solve the problem

Nice for such a small blade. Shame they don’t make one with a blade length that can do more than cut tape and open envelopes though. It would be one for my fifth pocket if I had one and would only come out if for some unforeseen reason I became a nice guy and didn’t want to pull out a big murdery looking knife in a room full of people. Lol

Dang you really do suck at paper slicing lol. The thumb stud was definitely an after thought. To me it felt rushed a bit . Im guessing from people wanting it over the flipper .
