I am very happy when Reactor tries to understand VOB through their interviews... I believe there are lots of good and talented bands in this world... But I think it is rare to find a band with a background like VOB... Starting from a very young age, women, poor families, do not know and do not have musical instruments, are not supported by family and environment, always get insults, satire, bullying and even physical violence such as being thrown stones and even being hit by vehicles coupled with the appearance of those who wear hijab... BUT they persisted in going through all of that until finally they were at THIS POINT... And they remained humble and polite towards anyone especially to those who were older... THAT'S what was DIFFERENT from them... I personally am very RESPECT , SALUTE and PROUD to them...

Siti's drumwork really shines in this song! I love her impish grin at the beginning of the song when she looks at Marsya, like "this is going to be SO awesome!". Then, after the last chorus (and Marsya's "GOOOOO"), she's hitting so hard, looks like she's going to break a stick! Full confidence/swagger/thunder on display! I think hijab is a pretty international term for the headscarf. I know there is a group in Finland called Hijabiksi, a group of young Muslim women who started a youth project to reduce societal fears surrounding the hijab. Thank you for your insight and heartfelt commentary on this vital band!
