  • The Minnesota Twins extended their win streak to four games, thanks in large part to a big Alex Kiriloff homer that put them over the top. Down in the minors, Royce Lewis started his rehab assignment with the Saints and David Festa had a dominant start for St. Paul. Also included in tonight's recap are updates on Brooks Lee and Walker Jenkins' rehab assignments and much more.

Nice to see Kiriloff hitting better. He has a great swing! Correa has been fielding at an elite level.

I think we can all feel, with some reassurance, that we are seeing the best shortstop play this franchise has ever had, and you can throw in Greg Gagne, Zoilo Versalles, heck, go all the way back to the prehistoric ancestors from the Washington days, and not one of them has the skills and game smarts to the degree that Correa has.

@@tonyoandkitty agree. He’s a fantastic fielder and his arm is like a cannon

The game had some lackluster moments, to be sure, and for all of us elite citizens (among the 30K+ at Target Field) in the upper bowl, things were beginning to get just a bit melancholy, from all the missed scoring chances. But that’s baseball, Kiriloff rose to the occasion and let his talent Shine!

With swr pitching well wonder when Festa gets a mlb chance don't look like it will be because of swr at this point

Someone needs to teach Julien how to not stare at strike 3. I cant tell you how many times ive rolled my eyes seeing him stare at strike three this year.

Festa looks like a Cy Young candidate with that pitching motion. Its so cool looking. Probably the most hyped ive been for a pitching prospect ever. Could he be called up this year if he gets a bigger workload? Maybe a guy gets hurt and opens the door for him?

Festa’s pitching motion literally looks the same on every pitch in the highlights you showed. Maybe it was the same pitch type but still. Very cool. High hopes for him. 13th round to boot. Crazy
