It took me a minute to figure out what was going on (English isn’t my native language so a sci-fi setting, which bends the listener’s expectations of how the world operates, can be more difficult to understand. But I ended up liking both the premise and the personality of the speaker. I’d love a series about this world.

(Oh no, that reference probably makes me ancient... but at least listener isn't Pris?) ... okay yeah this is all fascinating but part of me is wondering about the greater ethics concerns, if this 'bot has no socialization context. And the focus on establishing that they really are a *perfect* copy... 😳 And yet it manages to be cute, down to speaker admitting they'll need someone more socially competent to handle that sort of intro and integration. Aww. He knows he's weird! 💜💜💜
