As a dad I have to admit I have learned a ton about parenting my girls. Specifically how to dad when the kids are involved in some dangerous sports and hobbies. The thoughtfulness you show to the boys is inspiring. Keep it up!!!
@@eachin9105 yes, I also use that word when people have high abilities and seem confident (and can come from envy), but Milo isn't arrogant. He's confident in a good way and knows his limits and abilities.
Great example of how to properly support a young processing rider or anyone processing for that matter, lots of helpful tips and encouragement without pressure. Milo has a really strong approach to these challenges, kid is a beast
You are killing it as a dad. Giving them just the right amount of confidence and not pushing them beyond what they are ready for. It's hard sometimes to let them try new things that you might not know they are ready for, but letting them trust their instincts. You're kids are growing up to be such awesome riders!
2:49 seth often mentions this. maybe it would be cool if he did a video where he measures the lengths of all the gaps, heights of all the drops and the steepness of the sections like the Elmer fudd bridge on berm peak express to give us more of an understanding watching these videos
I don't have kids but this makes me consider having one or two. That smile from the pops watching his son grow with new experiences it truly heartwarming and I see it as one of the best feelings as a parent.
I love this. I literally just got back from riding dirt jumps with my 11 Yr old grandson on our bmx bikes and saw this. It's a great bit kinda scary thing to do but he's absolutely buzzing right now. Well done Milo 👍
Great footage, and great job Milo! I’ve been having these conversations with my kids for years now. Teaching them how to calculate risk and accurately assess the “risk versus gain” while assessing their technical ability. Learning life lessons as a family! Great stuff!
This was honestly such a great video. Milo was so dialed in! It’s great to get to watch the youth these days pushing their limits. We did not have the privilege of videos and older people helping us when we were kids in the early 80’s learning how to jump and do stuff out of our comfort zone. Lots of times it ended in disaster or sometimes we pulled it off. All in all it’s a learning experience you can apply to other things in life as well! Thanks for sharing such a cherished moment! Milo you rock buddy!!!🤙
Ex Bmx racer and 4x in the uk.kids got skills.I like how you broke things down with him, correct way.I like also stating doesn't matter how long it takes.I always say commit or don't bother its OK to come back and try another day if it doesn't feel right.but once committed no backing out getting caught in two minds!
Hell yea Milo! I have to say, you're one of my dad role models. My daughter's 5 and we just ordered her first "real bike" for her 6th birthday, a Specialized Jett. She loves riding and I'm excited to grow with her. Keep it up
That's awesome to hear! It's pretty fun helping the kids have a good time on bikes, and it just keeps getting better. Have fun riding with your daughter, tell her I said Happy Birthday!
The boys have definitely come a long way, fast skills wise and the new FS bikes have definitely stepped their confidence up to another level. After seeing Milo at Berm Park, he definitely had all those features at Berm Peak, and had every right to be proud, hopefully Dad reminded him of the difference between confidence and cocky - one is good to have, the other can get you in trouble.
I enjoyed this video SOOOO much. Congrats Milo you're crushing these features!!!! Always great seeing collaborations between Seth and the Porters. Thanks all!
Finally!!! A new Porter Mtb video. These videos are amazing. You guys should come down here to SC and ride Biggin Creek. I would love to show y’all around!!!
Skills! Not only was waiting to hit these features a good idea because Milo didn't get hurt, but he also had fun. Always important to keep the stoke alive and not burn out because of stress.
Porter, great to see you discuss risk management and being patient to manage confidence vs skill. As a dad of a twelve year old son, this is great advice for me. Thanks.
I’ve said it before, but it’s worth repeating; what an awesome pair of boys you’ve got! They have a real chill and knowledgable teacher also though! 🥰👍
I wish I was lucky enough to be Milo's age with the gear these kids have at there disposal and the facilities too! The progression they are capable of is insane now compared to when I was in my peak riding years looking back as I'm about to turn 46 in a few weeks.
How into Jaxson Riddle is Milo?! Those glasses hes wearing make me think of the Rampage Peoples Champ. Man Milo shreds, no surprise, hes a Porter but damn. That Berm Park video was 🔥 too. Thanks Porter family. You guys are an inspiration for us and our little shredder.
About the snowboard jump, that’s absolutely insane! I have no clue how he had the guts to send that big of a jump on a board! I ski, but you still need a lot of courage, tell him he did a good job
Wow what a fantastic video really enjoyed watching it and it’s fantastic to see a child got a Dad like you to teach a child. I would love to learn how to do those things been riding mountain bikes for over 20 years and never been shown how to do those fixtures
Is there any chance you could make a short video on how to install o rings? I know it’s really basic but I can’t figure it out and a video would help a lot!

That's a huge jump. Takes some speed and balls to hit.

Milo was a smooth operator on all of the features. The kid is good!
This kid is a legend... go Milo!... I'm 40 and I've barely mastered a bunnyhop... 🤨
Milo is seriously killing it. Best Berm Peak run ever? maybe. So much style.
Milo needs to ride airbag trail! That would be sick to see
