Yes! I love wrapping presents and making them gorgeous with my handmade bows! I've wrapped 16 gifts so far and I still have some shopping to do.
I wish I knew how to make handmade bows! Maybe when my kids are older I’ll try to learn how to make the gifts extra pretty! 😍

I enjoy wrapping gifts but as I’ve aged my back gets tired. It’s still a joy imagining the receivers joy with their gifts.

I try my best to change around the camera every so often so that it doesn’t get boring lol
I used to do the same thing for my two sons!! I picked two different wrapping papers with coordinating bags. That way nothing got mixed up!!! Miss those days!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

This year has flown it doesn’t feel like it’s been a year feels like a couple of months ago I was wrapping Christmas presents for 2022 and now we are about three weeks away from Christmas 2023 time flies.

Last year we had just started making enough money to finally get our kids gifts ourselves and this year we are able to do so much more like actually splurge and not worry about not having money I got my husband designer shoes and my brother in law designer winter gloves just the sheer fact that I was able to do that and get my 2 kids lots of expensive gifts to makes me really happy

Merry Christmas, Megan! I don't mind slime or playdoh. However, my husband has banned slime, but a mom tip for others for playdoh: plastic lunch trays! We actually use them for all paint projects and playdoh adventures. The set of 4 I got at the dollar store have lasted over 3 years now.
We have craft trays too! It helps so much with containing the mess lol
I got the Harry Potter Chamber of Secrets Lego set for my 53rd birthday. I found it very relaxing. My 4 yr old grandson LOVES play-Doh. He was going thru so much of it I started making it. 😂

I love watching people wrap gifts. I just cannot do the cohesive wrapping paper thing. It’s a tradition, that has been going on since before I was born, that no 2 gifts can have the same wrapping paper. It may take a little longer to wrap. But some rolls I’ve used on my kids gifts were used on mine when I was a kid. Seeing the same wrapping paper every year and going through rolls to pick the perfect one for each gift is so much fun and they all have memories attached to them. It’s definitely not for everyone (and not something I’ve ever heard of anyone else doing) but I can’t imagine doing it any other way.
That’s such a cool tradition! But I couldn’t imagine storing that much wrapping paper for so long 😅
@@lovinglifeasmegan yeah we have so many rolls we made an excel spreadsheet just to keep track of them all. I think we have a couple hundred rolls at this point. But having so many rolls allows us to also wrap for charity’s in our area. They bring the gifts to us to wrap and we bring them back when they’re ready. It’s an easy way to contribute even when we are having a financially tough year.
I'm kind of the same way, I will use the same wrapping paper on two gifts, but I will not make the same bow for each of those gifts. I try to make each gift unique and special. 🎄
Those are very pretty wrapped presents with all the same color. I guess I'd like a little more variety. But I have done all the same Christmas wrapped paper, but mainly because that's all I had. With 4 kids, I needed to change the wrapping paper so they couldn't tell those presents was whose! And I like different wrapping paper myself. It does look pretty. It's nice you got some colored bags, those are pretty! You looked very pretty too. It's been snowing & very cold here in Eastern Washington state! I usually stick to one paper per person and then a separate paper for our friends & family gifts

I have always enjoyed wrapping gifts,I make a day of it and at my age (71) I put all the gifts on my bed and I’m the perfect height, I no longer can get off the floor😂😂😂

You have bought some beautiful gifts like the harrp potter Lego but the thing is you are spoiling them all by taping the gift wrap to the gift! Why would you do that? The Harry potter Lego boxes and othet boxes will be torn now when the gift is opened..I can't work out why so many pekple stivk the paper to the gift
