Even if Gensokyo is dangerous because of Youkai, one doesn't always see beauty like that in only one place, the prominent Youkai Mountain with autumn majesty is just such beautiful to start viewing Gensokyo just at it is. Sanar is so lucky to be in such fantasy land with such grace.
I don't know where people get to likening this to Transistor or Silent Hill, but I'm hearing the band called Explosions In the Sky. Like, seriously, I could throw this song into the album "The Earth Is Not a Cold Dead Place", set it to shuffle (that example album has a noticeable continuity across its tracklist if listened to in order... it's practically one whole progressive piece), and fool someone unfamiliar with Touhou into thinking it belonged.
Hm... I can't seem to be able to stop listening to this. It is oddly calming but my biggest wonder is how it feels like its song for both goodbye and welcome.
Listening to this while I was alone at night really brought out the feels for some reason. it makes me feel something, maybe nostalgia? Not sure...but it's such a calming arrangement and a great find!

I really enjoy the instrumental arrangements of almost all genres you upload. Always bringing out the eccentric but best stuff :)

This is one of the best arrangement I have ever heard, it has a certain serenity to it while it manages to stir up all kinds of emotions.

This is amazing. I can't believe there was a Touhou arrange in this style. I want as much of this as I can possibly get.

Don't know which track it was exactly, but this is really reminding me of a Silent Hill OST
