America is the #1 Country in the world! Why are the Reps against new innovation like EV? No one is forced to purchase EV ‘s why is this such a big deal? Why is it wrong for Americas to get subsidies for EV purchases? It’s called business! For this to be the land of the free, seems like Reps are taking more & more freedoms. Regulations keep people safe however Reps want to take THAT away. Someone please make it make sense.

No, that is not what he said. He said that all products, including electric vehicles, imported to the USA have to pass our labor standards. We have the FLSA, TAA, Tariff Act, CLDA, Dodd-Frank Act, etc. which all make sure there are processes in place to find out whether products are made via unacceptable labor standards and if so, to reprimand the company supporting them, reprimand the companies carrying them out, and work to remedy the situation. If you truly want to stand up against ever even potentially supporting unfair labor standards, then you probably wouldn’t have been able to watch or comment on this video in the first place.
EV’s are the future. Green energy is the only option for us at this point. We need more solar, more wind, more EV’s, etc. Big Oil has brainwashed and bribed the American right into thinking that green energy is against their best interests, when in fact green energy is absolutely in their best interest.

No one is forcing you to buy a new truck (EV or otherwise) except the auto manufacturers and dealers who repeatedly lobby against right to repair legislation and other consumer protections that allow consumers to affordably keep their vehicles on the road.
