I don't actually know. All's I know is that he said in an interview after his previous first short training camp at Freddie Roaches gym that he'd definitely be back to do another. Could be back at Wildcard, but he might go for something different. He's known Ishmael Salas since his amateur days, so Vegas might be a natural choice. Salas knows South East and East Asian fighters mindsets like no other trainers. Even married to a Japanese so communication a little easier. Plenty good sparring partners with different styles for Inoue to sample there too..

    Let's go Naoya!
By the way, I'm a Japanese living in the states for a while, but his interpreter isn't good enough IMO. He speaks pretty fluent English but choice of words in Japanese is kind of poor, so Emglish listners are not really getting the exact messages from Naoya. His ENG to JPN translation is not good neither.
And this interpreter can't utilize his memo and tend to skip a lot of important details when translating in those two languages.
    Has anyone noticed that?
By the way, his another "regular" interpreter, who is a lady is even worse...
Naoya is one of the best boxers from this era, so they should hire the best interpreter for him, so that the world can recognize him exactly as what he really is.

  • @dannyle2298

The die hards boxing fans and savants all know that Inoue deserves to be at the top of the P4P mountain. Understandable that Uysk should be #1 at the moment because cmon, he defeated one of the notorious giants of the heavyweight, Tyson Fury. But Inoue is truly becoming the people's champ in boxing. He's everything you want to see in a boxer. His skillset and IQ are off the charts. He only fights the best of the best in the weight division he competes in and the most impressive thing is that he does it in back to back fights...within a matter of months. I get that many of these boxers fight to provide for themselves and family but Inoue goes beyond chasing greatness, laying down his undefeated record every single fight, knocking everyone tf out, entertaining fans and boxers from all over the globe, and making a whole lot of money that so many boxers dream of ever obtaining. Now that is the gold standard of boxing. Not no bs slick style run and tap boxing like Mayweather or ducking the fights that need to happen like Crawford. Every boxers need to start watch and learn from Inoue because he's doing it all. Making a whole lot of money, entertaining fans with his skills and performance, beating all the best fighters, winning world titles and continue making history in the sport of boxing. The monster is that motor in today's era that is reviving the sport of boxing.

@@xioopgu see that’s why your considered one of those ignorant boxing fans. Inoue only fight the top fighters in his weight division. He started fighting at 108 lbs and destroyed the next 4 weight division. He’s going to be fighting in his 5th weight division next year but you think he’s not great cause he gotta move up and fight at 135-140 which is 3-4 weight division from where he’s currently fighting at. Just cause you only follow the dead dream Haney and run lil scared Shakur, doesn’t mean fighting at 135-140 makes you the best fighter. You don’t see Haney going up and fighting Canelo. Weight classes matter. Your logic is saying that Inoue is his career has to fight in his 8th weight class in order to be considered great. Dumb comment. Even the best fighters at 135-140 (Tank and Teo) already recognized Inoue as their favorite fighter of this generation.

@@xioopgu So Inoue gotta be like PacMan and fight in his 7th and 8th weight division to be relevant. Might as well tell Shakur Stevenson and Devin Haney to go up and fight Canelo just to get their asses knocked out. Inoue started fighting at 108 and bouta to move up to his 5th weight class. Shakur only fought in 3 weight classes and doesn't even look good at 135.

The featherweight class is not a dangerous one, and not everyone can just move up to a higher and higher weight class. To do that, you need time to prepare your muscles, body shape, and weight. Preparation is important, and no one would be stupid enough to suddenly move up a weight class. On the other hand, if a featherweight fighter wants to fight Inoue so badly, can he go back to super bantamweight and fight Inoue right away? He probably can't. It's the same thing. It's obvious that he'll be defeated by Inoue in super bantamweight, so it's not a true champion to talk about things that are to his advantage.

Even if Nakatani improves his head movement, it's difficult to use head movement against a shorter, power puncher. Nakatani relies on his legs and combination punching as his defense, and Inoue can close the gap fast and punch with Nakatani, punching between Nakatani'spunches. If they fight, Inoue wins by KO!!
