Oh, how I disliked my "German" as it was the language of home growing up. Yet now- well past 50 -I so appreciate that I can still speak and understand most of what I hear in this lecture. Even better, the pleasure I get being able to understand [less than] most of Bach as it is sung.
So sorry so few have heard this / these lecture.

Man, judging by how much longer is left in this decades long production, and how much I love it, I feel like I need to learn German. I'm missing out on so much!
