The main thing, as you ve correctly pointed out , while taking a superspeciality is your interest in that topic, more than any monetary benefits or thinking about work life balance. At the end of the day, one slowly learns to manage time well. As you've rightly pointed out cardiac anaesthesiology is not to be confused with those who love adrenaline surges. P. S: Dont avoid a super speciality you love , only because you feel its time consuming.

Sir this is a conspiracy by MD General Medicine people who are sitting at top levels of NBE and are trying to snatch Critical care medicine away from MD Anesthesia... 😣😪 We all know MD General Medicine people will not able to handle ICUs like MD Anesthesia but still they are jealous of Anesthesiologists. Sir it will be horrific to see MD General Medicine people handling Surgical ICUs in future.

You can do research on your own, but to give anesthesia to a patient is not allowed

U can but you have to give medicine group paper

You can do better than cardiology if you become good in your skills. I don't think we will get eligibility.
