I personally listen to Mishary Al 'Afasy, Ahmad Al Hudhaify, Minshawi, Muhammad Ayub, Adel Ryyan, and Abdul Basit. I used to listen to Al Luhaidan, Ad Dosary etc but my teacher told me not to listen to them because of their tajweed.
Allah knows best...they attract me to the Quran more than other recitors (i meanLuhaidan) and utaybi withthe exception of Mishary who I guess has the best of both worlds...Luhaidan is just out of this world sometimes though mashallah
Masha'Allah!! After listening to this so many times I am finally able to recite this part of Sura Isra just like him, now if only I could recite the rest of the Quran like him...
@SHUR1312 im pretty sure his tajweed is fine, in fact his gunnah on the noon(s) are perfect. I dont think he could have got to where he is know, with bad tajweed. Be humble brother, care and want for your brother what you want for yourself. Jazakallah khair :)

@SHUR1312 I guess you have a point with the Ghunnah on "Tun" and for the ra, are you sure it doesnt have a shaddah ? i would think a shiekh of his status wouldnt make silly mistakes like that, dont you reckon? But for the ha at the end of hikmah, keep playing it, he actually does pronounce it But you are right with the other points, forgive me akhi :)
Yes I agree with you. But the problem with some of the Saudi reciters is that they beautify their recitations in ways that compromise the rules of Tajweed. The recitation of the Quran should be done in a beautiful voice, but should always follow the rules of Tajweed. I don't want to point fingers or anything, but I have noticed that reciters like Al Luhaidan, Ad Dosary, Al Utaibi, etc. do not follow the rules of Tajweed very strictly. Nasir Al Qatami is better, but still not perfect.
Ithink Arabs like him might not realise that it sounds like theyre saying Seen and notSaad because in their regional acccent that's how everyone pronounces and it would not come to the attention of their ear, but Allah knows best as to the truth of this matter..truth be told Al-Luhaidan is my favourite quran recitor...if you go to the youtube channel A50385 a brother called Abu Jaasim always records videos from Luhaidan's mosque...and I have some good videos my channel..maa shaa Allah...salaam
@PriorityIslam1 No there is shaddah on Ra. On Hikman, the haa has to be audible. There are a lot of Qurra out there that don't have good tajweed. They are just famous for their voice. But this is not right. The Quran should only be beautified with the rules of tajweed. You should listen to Sheikh Mishary Al 'Afasy, he has good tajweed. Other Qurra like Al Utaibi, Al Luhaidan, Ad Dosary etc. don't have good tajweed.
@PriorityIslam1 I didn't mean offense or anything, but his tajweed is not that great. That is just one of the rules. Here are some of the mistakes he is making: -Not reciting the Madd long enough -He is doing Qalqalah on the "Raa's" (example: 0:23 he says "Aradhi" instead of "Ardhi") -@ 0:41 he doesn't do a ikhfa shafawee on "Mimma" -@ 0:49 he says "Hikma" when it should be "Hikmah" with a Haa -@ 1:21 he says "Sarafna" with a Seen instead of Saad -@ 1:38 there should be a ghunnah on "Tun"
His my fevorite reciter, my Allah grant him highiest pradise, ManshAllah

why not use a picture of Shiekh Salman Al Utaibi ..?
@PriorityIslam1 Those are just a few. But you see my point. His voice is nice though.
وين هذا المسجد؟
in context of sarafnaa there's not necessarily a big difference... but i'm curious...are you arab?
@SHUR1312

MATT PRIDAY WATCH YOUR WORDS!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT INSULT OUR RELIGION ISLAM AND PROVED THE ISLAM IS TRUE

Good recitation but he needs to work on his tajweed.
