The Last Ride was his finisher during his American Bad Ass persona, he definitely used the Tomb Stone before that, he hardly ever used the Tomb Stone during his time as the American Bad Ass because Piledrivers weren't allowed to be used in WWE for some time, which is why he used the lift-up Powerbomb AKA The Last Ride during that time
Taker's used the tombstone since his debut in WWF, He used the last ride more during ABA gimmick only using tombstone occasionally. Can't wait to see the leaping tombstone thats in the second DLC pack
Psycho Sid finisher was a powerbomb and the chokeslam was his signature. Kane chokeslam was a signature too, but the Tombstone was his finisher, until they had him to change it to the chokeslam. And Undertaker did the tombstone different back then.
Funny thing you mention that, I was watching that match on the Streak DVD a few days ago and it seems like this WWE 2K14 Retro Undertaker entrance was entirely based off his WrestleMania 11 entrance, which in fact is where Retro Undertaker debuts in this mode on 2K14.
Man, I agree with you 100%. Seeing how they already had Retro Paul Bearer in "WWE All Stars", "SD VS RAW 2011" and "WWE LOW", there is no logical explanation that they can give me for not including his classic look in the game. At least, I would've preferred a Retro Paul Bearer over Bruno Sammartino slot if it required use of an additional character slot. More fans were anticipating and excited about seeing Paul Bearer with his Urn than any # of fans I know "who can't wait to play as Bruno"smh
I felt similar, especially when I think about the years 2000 and 2001 in his career. I was so happy when they brought back the Deadman Undertaker in 2004.

Saw all as managers in their videos, so wouldn't doubt they can be used outside 30 yrs of WM. Mr. Perfect is also playable as DLC, but it is his nWo version. So he is known as Curt Henning.
That is how they build them up back then. Like Kane is 7'0 tall, or like The Big Show is 7"0 tall and the Great Khail is 7'3 tall, but him and big show stand exactly the same height. And last but not least, Giant Gonzales was build up to be 8'0 tall when he is like 7'5 or 7'6 tall.
Streak mode isn't about doing all the matches that are part of the streak. Its a mode in 30 yrs of WM that allows you to defend the streak in a slobber knocker style match, or defeat the streak with any wrestler in the game including CAWs.
Exactly as it said. They have more than Cena but they probably not in the game. If you take a look over Shawn Michaels career he have way more than Cena ever had at this time. They only remember specific ones or the ones they like, and made what we like. We don't know if Undertaker debut attire is in the game and he have way less than all of them. We really don't know how many alternate attires they gave each wrestler; which is probably the reason why they gave us superstar heads.
That's was just his "billed weight" at the time...he's actually 299 lbs. Nowadays he's announced at his actual weight but back then they were big (no pun intended) on billing guys as heavier than they really were.
Current Taker has hell's gate and last ride, retro doesn't because he didn't do them yet. Also the wrestling style is different, current will have combination of brawling, powerhouse, and grappler moves. Retro will mainly have powerhouse with some brawling.
Hmm lets see where to begin. His moves are way different than his current version. His entrance is different as well. Also, current version already has 3 different alt attires. It also doesn't matter if it is alt attire or different superstar, it will take the same amount of space on the disk.
This is pretty accurate, but the isle was at an angle in the real show, and there was a pivoting lighting rig. That awesomely tilted towards 'Taker when he did his pose. This game is missing those touches, and I doubt that it would be hard to program differently angled entranceways.
Just a manager? Paul Bearer is just as a legend as Undertaker. You'd think Yukes, WWE game developer for 13 damn years, would know how to make certain people right with no screw ups at all.
for me it is WWE ALLSTARS all the way, and this was mainly down to how good the in the ring game play was, it was an absolute joy to play on line before they closed the server, who cares if paul bearer isn't carrying his urn with his jet black hair, lets make sure that the game is playable, that to me is the most important thing, it is that one thing alone which will govern wether or not i buy it, simple as : 0 )
Ya and there r much more attires in this game, and now we can use Superstar Threads on the entrance attire too! I am so excited for this game. Cena has 50 attires tho lol.
Well if Yukes didn't go with the relive moments thing again, then I wouldn't have mentioned this. 30 Years Of WrestleMania is supposed to let fans relive great moments & matches(again). So when a certain match is based on Undertaker's matches, of course obvious flaws are going to be pointed out and when Yukes didn't seem to have a problem making Paul Bearer in the past, even in All-Stars, there's no excuse.
His hair and attire will be from that match, his music will be w.e u have for Retro Big Show. You just have to choose that attire when ever you want to use it.
1:41 and they never got the light coming back part right again. In the later 2k games it just looks off. Here it looks natural where the lights slowly coming on perfectly timed with arm raise of the Undertaker.
I differ with you on WWE 13 cause I love that game and still play it till this day. WWE 12 was horrible though - you're right about that one. Gameplay and user friendliness is the 1ST most important thing

Thats right. I'd actually like it if "King Mabel" was in the game and all, out of all the WWE's large men he was the only King Of The Ring winner back when that title meant something special. Too bad he wasn't pushed beyond that run in 95 though. If he was more aggressive like Vader or Yokuzuna Vince might've pushed for longer as a WWF superstar. Maybe the Kliq held him down after accidently injured Undertaker's eye.

Randy's is just a alt attire, so it will most likely be the same entrance as his current. This is why they have some as a different superstar, but they do sometimes have a different entrance for alt attires. Like Mankind from WWE 13, his brown attire entrance was different than his white shirt. or Cody Rhodes from WWE 12 where his dashing attire had his dashing entrance but his normal entrance was the clear mask attire....
What pisses me off, is that for exhibition mode, instead of giving us an actual retro 90's undertaker entrance like, say..THIS ONE, we have to use the current undertaker entrance.. with fire balls going off on the stage behind him. I dunno about you, but I sure don't remember one single time in the 90's (especially before they used stages) that the undertaker made an entrance with flames rising from the concrete arena floor behind him.. You can edit it in create an entrance, sure. BUT, then there's no way to make the lights come on when he raises his arms.. also, you can only add arena smoke to 2 scenes of the entrance. Another thing..with all of these extra attires in the game, why could they not just give Paul Bearer the right alt. attire? He looks out of place. This also isn't Taker's WM12 attire, it's from WM11. All they would have needed to do is 1. Make his shirt sleeveless.. 2.Give him to both full tattoo sleeves and 3. Give him a black (with purple trim) elbow pad on his left arm.. That's it! I doubt it would have taken much time and resources.. But noo.. Fuck Yukes, Fuck Yukes right in the ear... I hope you (2k) drop their asses completely from next year's title and moving on.

MLB (I know, different sport, publisher, and series) 2k6 (published in 2005) had MUCH better commentary. Probably best sports game commentary of all time. When 2k took over the WWE license, I was so excited. But, they still haven't made a perfect game commentary wise. And, in pro wrestling in particular, commentary adds SO much! I wish they could improve it. - And have era specific commentary, too.

Actually, I think it is because they might have this entrance for WM 11 which he didn't have the urn due to it being stolen. Just watch that entrance, and the camera angles and the motion that Paul does looks a lot like that.
This is a bittersweet video. The Undertaker himself looks amazing in this video. The mystique and aura are captured perfectly. And it only makes it more awesome that the jacket and tie move realistically. 10/10 there. But Paul Bearer is all wrong. This should have been the black-haired, ghost-faced manager of the Deadman that we all remember...and that was at this match. Plus there is no urn. All that was needed was to use his model from Legends of Wrestlemania like others in this game. Fail.
Pretty close, I don't what he exactly looked like. But it is pretty close to it. Not too sure about the entrance tho, I know they have his Hollywood Rock theme in the game.

Yes you can use the heads to make as a alt attire, I don't know much about it besides that.
