It seems like in every video you mention that every car should come standard with forward collision warning and emergency breaking. Chill guys it'll happen sooner or later.
cairns76 yes slightly but here in Canada we get revised suspension and extra trims. The S still has the sport suspension, but the smaller wheels help slightly. The touring suspension is much softer and better and we get that in the EX luxury and the SX trims in Canada
That's because there are 2 different Horsepower outputs. The Base is the one mentioned at :25 and the one as tested in the EX is mentioned at 1:25. www.kia.com/us/en/vehicle/forte/2017/features
Kamaka Chang it's a 2.0 Atkinson cycle engine 147 hp. The 2.0 GDI is 164 but they should have left it at 173 regardless of the increased mpg which in real world is actually nothing.
Of all the compacts, (sedans and hatchbacks)The Kia Forte and the Subaru Impreza are the two most underrated of the group. Even it's corporate cousin (Hyundai Elantra) get's more attention and they are mechanically the same car. It belongs in the conversation of best compacts along with the Mazda 3, Honda Civic, Hyundai Elantra (it's corporate twin), Volkswagen Jetta. The new look Subaru Impreza will surprise some people.
I'm guessing the Kia Forte should be getting a redesign soon, with new chassis and everything. I just got the new Elantra. You are right. It's a new chassis. The ride is nice.
Seems like a nice car, a good car, and a good value. One big problem for me though. I DON'T WANT MONOTONE BLACK INTERIOR. It's drab, depressing, and way too hot here in Florida.
$26k to be the suggested sale sticker price, but that's before they add another $8 to $10k more in sales tax, papers and licenses. Your total a month from these sharks are $400.00 to $600.00 if you give a great down payment or if you have a above 700 credit score or own a home so that you can buy the car out right. These car dealers are rip off artists. But it's the best we got. Auto gravity sucks ass also.
I love my Kia Forte... no issues, comfortable and drives like a dream
Kia needs a nice stylized K logo for markets outside of Korea. That KIA logo is rather bland.
ventilated seats on compact affordable cars....nice!
For farts
k9feces LOL
For those of us who are forced to buy leather on the EX and don't want swamp ass.
honestly, I love mine

I think the reason why they aren't included as standard equipment is because it would increase the sticker price on the base model.
Brian Rosado It's like they expect the driver to not pay attention to the road or something
Blue Post it notes Think of it as a way to transition people towards self-driving cars.
Kevin Smith In that case, it's supposed to protect you from another driver who isn't quite safe.
Brian Rosado guess what, toyota does it now
wich one is better kia forte hatch, mazda3 hatch or ford focus hatch eco boost
Wouldn't the ride improve with the 16 inch wheels found on the S version?

FYI You say two different HP ratings @ 0:25 and @ 1:25.
The Forte has a 2.0L Port-Injected Inline 4 cylinder with 147 hp on the LX and S AND a 2.0L Direct Injection Inline 4 cylinder with 164 hp on the EX.

I have the base stock version that doesn't have any of the fancy features. Mine doesn't even have cruise control. I have the LX.
how fast do the ventilated seats kick in?

Charles allen jr no the new Hyundai Elantra is totally different. It rides on a totally new chassis. The Forte rides on the old stuff

When it comes in India
Brakes and shocks are very sub par bordering on dangerous.

Mine is Grey with Black and carbon fiber touches. Really nice! Ventilated and (Especially right now) heated seats are nice.. lol
does this have power folding mirrors
Yes.
Nice car!
😂
if you pay 26,000 for this you could get the kia sportage for this price.
natural Tt the base sportage with nothing in it
Sportage size cars can't fit in my garage.

👍
Why is the KIA Forte's at my dealership have ugly rims on them but full priced cars?
There is only one problem with Kia in general and that is they don't have the equivalent to Toyota Care.
the 2017 crv gets better mpg than this!!!
No its not. 29 city 38 hwy for the Forte.
CR is irrelevant.
👍
