    Always worth a trip, an the Black is a great trail too. The explosion in new trails, particularly blue runs, in Scotland is exactly what the sport needs - welcoming trails for the improving rider, and families. The jump from Glentress Blue Trails to Off-Piste Blacks has always been massive - even the Laggan Reds are a challenge to many people. Getting more Blue trails built up is such a win. Those new Cairngorm trails look to be perfect for the novice rider.

    Absolutely love Laggan and particularly the Upper Red, which is my favourite red trail in the UK. For someone whose local trails are the loam, roots and mud of the FOD, the trails at Laggan, with the rock and shale, is a totally different riding experience. A fun, technical challenge on the way up and a fast, flowy descent, which has enough technicality about it, to make you keep your wits about you.
    Not forgetting of course, the big rock slab, Airs Rock, on the Lower red.
    Can wait to visit again when I go up in August.

      I agree. As a trail centre it's pretty unique and really does have something a bit different to offer. I can't wait to see what they do with the new flow trails at the end of this year. Such a good place. Thanks for taking time to comment 👍

    I love Laggan, with Upper Red being my favourite trail centre run in the country. Unfortunately, about this time last year, I had a massive off on the lower jump line. Nothing broken but bruised parts of me I didn’t think were possible to bruise 😅. Sadly, since then I’ve seemed to have lost a bit of my biking mojo although watching your vid makes me want to get back up there.
    Thanks for posting and great video as always Mr Pigeon!

    Seeing those rocks so smooth and slippery makes my pulse race.
    Where I live it is very dry all year round. I want to visit Scotland soon, it's quite a challenge.
    I must add that there is much more merit in riding in these conditions.
    I enjoyed the video as if I was there! 🤗

    Cracking video. My favourite place of the past. Few years since I've been and now I'm itchin to get back after seeing this. Never been across the road yet, but must do that too. Just so much fun to be had at the centre. You've got more style than me over the jumps with your classic bar turn manouvre 😁. I get air but don't do anything with it 🤔🤣. Great vid, always a highlight seeing your travels.

    Wow! What a video, the editing is phenomenal and your jumping skills are seriously coming on Jamie, fair play dude! Laggan is such a good place to ride, haven't been in ages, definitely got me stoked for it! I don't want to be "that guy" but is the jump line not an orange? 🙈

    • @streetpigeonmtb
      @streetpigeonmtb Год назад +1

      Thanks Archie. Yeah, I've been working hard on my riding and editing so it's good to know that folks are noticing it.
      Regarding the names, the 'red' jump line did used to be the 'orange'. However, Forestry are getting rid of all their orange lines and renaming them red. It's a bit confusing as I'm pretty sure some of the signs still say orange 🤣
