I Can’t Complain I’ve had bad days, and I’ve had hills to climb I’ve had sad days, and often a weary mind But when I look around, and I think these things all out All of the good days, out weigh the bad days, I can’t complain God is so good to me; yes He’s so good to me More than this world could be, He’s so good to me His Spirit came to me, and gave me Victory God is so good to me, I can’t complain Sometimes the clouds hang low, and I’d like to see them go And then I question, “Lord why so much pain” But He knows what’s best for me, although I cannot see So I’ll just say “Thank you Lord”, I can’t complain
The writer is REV DON JOHNSON. He wrote it in the late 70's. I am surprised as a Pentecostal you don't know this. Please give this dear pioneer credit.
I came into the church in 1979, at 14 years old. I will credit the writer. I searched the internet and RUclips looking for the author. It's no where out there even though a lot of people sing the song. Can you give me the site for the information. I just want to make sure. Thanks.
At the time that I made the movie maker video above, My God Is Good to Me/I Can't Complain (which also is listed as I Won't Complain, and other versions of the song title), I was not aware of the author's name. I searched the internet with no success, coming up with all kinds of men and women who have sang this song throughout the years. Recently, a person messaged me that the writer is a Rev. Don Johnson. After searching again including his name, I did find a video of him claiming the author rights. ruclips.net/video/p4ZH2YAB77c/видео.html I always credit authors as I am a song writer and do not want my songs discredited; however, if I cannot verify, I list author unknown until someone verifies it with me. I do not make any money off of my RUclips videos.
I Can’t Complain
I’ve had bad days, and I’ve had hills to climb
I’ve had sad days, and often a weary mind
But when I look around, and I think these things all out
All of the good days, out weigh the bad days, I can’t complain
God is so good to me; yes He’s so good to me
More than this world could be, He’s so good to me
His Spirit came to me, and gave me Victory
God is so good to me, I can’t complain
Sometimes the clouds hang low,
and I’d like to see them go
And then I question, “Lord why so much pain”
But He knows what’s best for me, although I cannot see
So I’ll just say “Thank you Lord”, I can’t complain

Good song but music drowns your voice to s strain.. 👍
This was at a camp meeting, so the acoustics were not that good, but I sure felt the anointing at the time. 😊
