A New Life for Montblanc Bag, with REAL Leather

- This $1800 Montblanc bag had a FAKE leather lining-but the salesman insisted it was leather.
With help from the Pegai artisans, we replaced the interior my signature leather as well as adding some luxurious white leather accents to complement the Montblanc aesthetic.

Horrible how an Iconic brand such as Montblanc would use PU so called leather. That sales person was ignorant or a lier. Thank you for correcting this bag.

I hate, hate, hate dark interiors. More brands need to make them lighter colors. I can't find anything in my dark bags. Yrs ago I had an inexpensive Franco Sarto that had an automatic bag light, which was really nice.🔦

Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

Hi Tanner, I came across your channel because I was considering buying this very briefcase. Funnily the montblanc person here in London repeated the same exact thing about the interior being leather. Despite all that, do you think this briefcase is still a decent buy? I understand the mark up is astronomically but I do enjoy the design of the bag regardless.

The new bag threads are not the same as original.those turkish craftsman need a heavier thread gage
In terms of color choice, the original is way better, in my opinion. Your version is no doubt using quality materials, but I just can't imagine it going with any of my outfits unless I'm dressing up as a mime 🤡 Would love a version in black with a lighter colored, like seafoam green interior, so it's easier to find items inside.
It works for someone young and carefree
You know how you check the real leather in the shop? - simply use a lighter. A real leather wouldn't burn, while a fake one burns instantly.
The sad truth is that every company cuts corners and is not 100% honest with the customers. Thanks for exposing this, because I am big fan and consumer of the brand. I will no longer buy a MontBlanc leather product.
Mont blanc is deceitful
