Most number of passes (493) with a pass accuracy of 93%. 5 missed penalties in a career of 11 years. Played a central role in helping Chelsea win the UCL and Italy winning the euros. Yes, this guy.
Maybe not as deserving of the ballon d'Or according to Messi and lewandowski fans, who clearly are either overlooking or unaware of his stats, but we know what he has done for us.

@@cydar If there is any role like this, it's the best description of what Kante does in the midfield. I doubt if there are any other midfielders currently in the world who can do this unique job he does in the midfield. Kante is special!

This guy is massively underrated. Ppl are degrading him because of balloon d'Or shouts which he somehow deserves.
Underrated? Do you lot know what underrated means? Kante is not underrated. He was underrated before,and he got slightly overrated around 2 weeks after the UCL final. Hes still 2nd or 3rd in the ballon dor votings despite his only major contribution being in 5 games in the CL. That isnt underrated. The only possible way hes underrated is that hes not played to his full potential for france. Hes played as a dm which is not his ideal position

I'm not agree with "underrated" but surely Kante deserve ballon d'or. Most people only rate an attacker players to win the ballon d'or and forgot about the defensive players only Van Dijk who come close to win it. The defensive statts is exist and equaly important with attacking statts.
