Your absolutely right Michele, the shower in the unicorn caravans are brilliant so big and the water pressure is great as well, and thanks Keith for sharing from your last video about the gas bottle gauge with safety cut off in case of leaks, that something we will definitely be buying, thanks guys, 👍❤️.

Hi Glad you are well and out and about. We have the same caravan and thought a tap was dripping on our first sleep. It turned out to be the clock simple battery removal. Also we have always had the jockey wheel forwards when travelling ! ( how we were shown ).Best feature wine cabinet 🍷 thanks for video’s Mandy & Gary
I used to tow my 7.5 metre fixed bed 4 berth caravan with my E Class Mercedes Saloon. I used to find that I had terrible passing vehicle suck and if I went beyond 51 mph I started to get tail waggle. I changed to towing the caravan with our 5.4 metre lwb Fiat Talento campervan. I can now go right up to the 60 mph limit with no problems whatsoever. The extra weight and the fact the caravan front aspect is almost completely covered in the wind, making perfect aerodynamics, has made all the difference. The caravan is hardly noticeable now. Not only that, when we take the caravan and then leave the camp site, we still have toilet, drink and food making facilities with a fridge etc. in a vehicle that is not too big to go through McDonalds, shops, attraction car parks . It has proved a very good decision.
I love the caravan just perfect, Sandra you remind me of an old teacher I had when I was at school she was wonderful and it took me back to my childhood. Looking forward to the next one. ❤
What a lovely place with the canal alongside. I think the traffic noise would be too much for us sadly. We have a Bailey Unicorn Cadiz which we love, we prefer not to have to make up the beds and there’s more room for our dog. We did love the big bathroom in our two berth though. It’s so great to see your happy smiling faces.

Absolutely wonderful. That is really a nice caravan and is the type of layout that I and my partner are also looking to upgrade to. Since we have a parking registration certificate issue according to how much space we have to store a caravan (and car), the Unicorn is just a bit too long so we will have to go for the Phoenix 420. This is probably best anyway given that our RV Parks (like CL sites) have a stipulated size of 7m x 5m and many are only about 6m in length and stopping at convenience stores etc is far easier with a smaller caravan. The love you have for each other is very, very evident in this clip. Michele's comments at the end just before making dinner showed how much of a scare that she had when Keith fell ill. Rather than being something negative, I have to say that I looked on in awe and kept thinking 'what a lovely couple!!'.

I love seeing the chef’s tipple whilst she is cooking! Enjoy your fabulous caravan. Just remember that size is relative. My favourite caravan was an Eriba. I now drive a VW Transporter campervan. BTW it is so good to see you reversing onto the pitch without the aid of a caravan mover. I also would do the same to the amazement of a lot of people on the campsite being a feeble solo woman in her 70’s!!

The van is looking great along with the chilli lol A wee tip add some grated dark chocolate just before serving chilli Also celery salt is good to use too

You share the same thoughts as me regarding motorhomes with regards to lack of transport. We want to explore places and not rely on UK public transport. If you have to tow a small car behind your motorhome to enable transport, you might as well tow a caravan in my view. Glad to see you are back vlogging, keep them coming please.

With towing, the golden rule is take it nice and slowly and if you have vehicles behind you when safe to do so, indicate left slow down and let them overtake. Takes a lot of stress away. Hi both what a great video can’t wait to get mine out we are going in 4 weeks time, have a great time I learnt a new tip when I reverse my caravan I was told to make sure you lift the Alko stabiliser hitch to the up position 👍🏻
After watching this vlog, I think the jury is still deliberating whether you like it and the size of your caravan...🤔 Joking aside, you made a fab move there and as you are out in Feb, you will have plenty of every season use of it (her) for many years to come. Glad you are enjoying your new home so much. Quick question, are stabilising bars a thing of the past? When I was an avid caravanner back in the eighties, we used to fit a stabilising bar, I didn’t see you do so?

Personally, we prefer a caravan & car for the ease of visiting places, parking etc, which we found more difficult with a motorhome. @@keithandmichele Well, I was not expecting that. Phew, glad you made it OK. We have, like you, a SA 2 berth caravan. For some time, I have been considering upgrading to a TA 4 berth, but not sure as you seem to drag around a large amount of real estate, i.e. bed as well as the weight etc. Do you miss the 4 berths compared to your 2 berths, and would you consider ever going back to one? Dilemma. LOL

Hi Glad you are well and out and about. We have the same caravan and thought a tap was dripping on our first sleep. It turned out to be the clock simple battery removal. Also we have always had the jockey wheel forwards when travelling ! ( how we were shown ).Best feature wine cabinet 🍷 thanks for video’s Mandy & Gary

I used to tow my 7.5 metre fixed bed 4 berth caravan with my E Class Mercedes Saloon. I used to find that I had terrible passing vehicle suck and if I went beyond 51 mph I started to get tail waggle. I changed to towing the caravan with our 5.4 metre lwb Fiat Talento campervan. I can now go right up to the 60 mph limit with no problems whatsoever. The extra weight and the fact the caravan front aspect is almost completely covered in the wind, making perfect aerodynamics, has made all the difference. The caravan is hardly noticeable now. Not only that, when we take the caravan and then leave the camp site, we still have toilet, drink and food making facilities with a fridge etc. in a vehicle that is not too big to go through McDonalds, shops, attraction car parks . It has proved a very good decision.

What a lovely place with the canal alongside. I think the traffic noise would be too much for us sadly. We have a Bailey Unicorn Cadiz which we love, we prefer not to have to make up the beds and there’s more room for our dog. We did love the big bathroom in our two berth though. It’s so great to see your happy smiling faces.

We have a Brindisi prefer the fixed bed but totally agree with Baileys bathrooms. Our shower is as good as one you would get in a house.

Absolutely wonderful. That is really a nice caravan and is the type of layout that I and my partner are also looking to upgrade to. Since we have a parking registration certificate issue according to how much space we have to store a caravan (and car), the Unicorn is just a bit too long so we will have to go for the Phoenix 420. This is probably best anyway given that our RV Parks (like CL sites) have a stipulated size of 7m x 5m and many are only about 6m in length and stopping at convenience stores etc is far easier with a smaller caravan.
The love you have for each other is very, very evident in this clip. Michele's comments at the end just before making dinner showed how much of a scare that she had when Keith fell ill. Rather than being something negative, I have to say that I looked on in awe and kept thinking 'what a lovely couple!!'.

I love seeing the chef’s tipple whilst she is cooking! Enjoy your fabulous caravan. Just remember that size is relative. My favourite caravan was an Eriba. I now drive a VW Transporter campervan. BTW it is so good to see you reversing onto the pitch without the aid of a caravan mover. I also would do the same to the amazement of a lot of people on the campsite being a feeble solo woman in her 70’s!!

You share the same thoughts as me regarding motorhomes with regards to lack of transport. We want to explore places and not rely on UK public transport. If you have to tow a small car behind your motorhome to enable transport, you might as well tow a caravan in my view. Glad to see you are back vlogging, keep them coming please.

With towing, the golden rule is take it nice and slowly and if you have vehicles behind you when safe to do so, indicate left slow down and let them overtake. Takes a lot of stress away. We did the same as you on our first trip with the caravan - not far away, on roads we know, and near enough to home in case we forgot anything. Took far too much stuff with us but you soon sort that out.

I learnt a new tip when I reverse my caravan I was told to make sure you lift the Alko stabiliser hitch to the up position 👍🏻

Glad you are enjoying your new home so much. Quick question, are stabilising bars a thing of the past? When I was an avid caravanner back in the eighties, we used to fit a stabilising bar, I didn’t see you do so?

@@keithandmichele Well, I was not expecting that. Phew, glad you made it OK. We have, like you, a SA 2 berth caravan. For some time, I have been considering upgrading to a TA 4 berth, but not sure as you seem to drag around a large amount of real estate, i.e. bed as well as the weight etc. Do you miss the 4 berths compared to your 2 berths, and would you consider ever going back to one? Dilemma. LOL
How are you finding putting the bed together and away again each morning?
