This song ❤ asking you to expose yourself deep inside. Sometimes when I hear this I think it can be a love song. Other times I hear it in terms of a convo with yourself so that you don’t forget who you are and what you’ve been through. As an adult, I’ve matured a lot but I bury my hurt and past deep down thinking “that’s not really me, that’s just the past” but in all honesty, it is me, it’s just a brick in the wall that I have. It’s still me, just a small segment in the bigger picture I see now, and as strong as I am I need to remember it’s okay to see, feel, and talk about inner wounds.
