My apu has the off on when it’s not charging my batteries and it won’t give me the option to select a/c fan or heat is there a fix or do I need to bring it to a shop?

Is there a way to program the apu? So that it will start automatically if the truck batteries get too low, so my. Refrigerator does not turn off
