Not sure why but at the part where we add a array modifier to the original plank, instead of a plank showing up directly behind the original plank, like in your video. The duplicate plank is like 10 meters behind the original plank. Therefore when I try to rotate he plank using the empty object it's not rotating correctly. I even restarted the entire tutorial and followed each step precisely. I'm using blender 4.0, same as you. So I don't know why it's not working. I even did the part where you click the original plank and then set its Origin point to the center of the scene. So I'm completely stumped.

      Hello!
It might be an issue with the scale or location of your plank object... basically if at any point you scaled it or moved it in object mode instead of edit mode, it will add those extra offsets when you use the array modifier :)
To check/fix this, you can select your object, open the N-panel and look at its scale. If any axis is different from 1, that's what causing the problem! And you can fix it by pressing Ctrl+A and doing an "Apply Scale".
      I hope it helps,
      cheers!

@@minapecheux Thankyou that was the solution! I was indeed scaling the barrel in Object mode instead of Edit mode. Thanks again for the fast response.

Because the tutorial was Great! And I got an amazing barsel and I liked the fact you didn't hold our hands and explain every single detail. But for some of the things you did it was gone over a bit too quick so I needed to research elsewhere how it worked, nut again, great tutorial
