- A few people have been asking how my wife refills her Dettol No-Touch Hand Wash System, so she decided that I should make a video of her removing the lid, but she's a bit shy and didn't want to speak...

They got a video on everything. Thanks for the instruction. I was afraid of breaking it but after viewing this video I was able to open the bottle without breaking it.
This helped me get mine open so thanks!
Also for anyone else ahead the next time you need to open it if you use a pair of pliers to flatten the 4 of the 6 outer plastic catches in the lid I'm sure it'll stay on but be much easier to get off next time 👍🏻

You'd have thought dettol would of done a refill 5 ltr or cheaper pouches which means less plastic and brand loyalty but nooooo let's just continue the money making... good idea this my sister told me about it saves £££ when refilling from 5ltr carex

Thank you! Still I think they should have done a better job at communicating what this product is. I bought it at a supermarket thinking it was a regular soap because that’s how it was shelved. I thought it was a defective piece until I saw this video 😅

I just cut a hole in the top of the bottle, refilled, then put a plaster over the hole so I can refill next time again

Slightly easier, drill a hole in the top of the clear container, fill through the hole and put a piece of tape over it
Yes, that would be the nicer and easier solution. You could even saw the bottle in half so refilling gets easier and you get to use ever more of that nice looking tape.
After around 18 months of doing this I noticed that the bottom was brown and kinda mouldy looking. It was gross. This way gives you the option of cleaning the part that goes into the automatic dispenser thus alleviating the issue I found myself with.

no, that's overkill, just get a cheapo metal soap dispenser (the standard ones), and just push it through the hole in the bottom, and just pump the soap, easy as that! (i used to do that!)

Sorry but it was just that, not shuld happen! Dropping lid to a hermetic bottle on the floor= never cleean agan a cotaminated soap!
