Priceless. In what other era could we or have we brought together the then and now of famous people. Like a great family 📖 photo album. Set to music 🎶 You make it possible 🙆 so thanks. 💎
@@juniusvindex769 As had Olivia Newton John, born in Cambridge, where Pink Floyd formed. Roger Waters was actually born in Great Bookham, Surrey, though. And AC/DC have Anglo-Scottish roots. Malcolm and Angus Young were born in Glasgow, Bon Scott in Forfar. Brian Johnson is a Geordie and bassist Cliff Williams was born in Romford, Essex.
Most but not all. Some of them seem like they have had a little help from plastic surgery. I feel positively young looking at 65 compared to some of them that are younger but look older.
A trip down memory lane here. We forget we're 40+ years older now, and our musical heroes from the days are too now I remember going to see Bonnie Tyler do a concert in Aberdeen Scotland way back in the 80s. She was fantastic on stage with a great band and a pair of great backing singers/ dancers to keep us entertained during the show.
Absolutely amazing videos honey!!!! I’m very proud of you 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘 And my favorite band of the 80’s band are Fleetwood Mac, the late Eric Carmen, Bon Jovi, Survivor, and the late Patrick Swayze 💖💖💖💖💖💖💝💝💝💝💖💞💞💞💞💞💞💞🌷🌷🌷🌺🌺🌺🌸🌸🌸🌸🌹🌹🌹🌹🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
The track " you drive me crazy" was pure class, and I guess Albert Lee played the Guitar solo, what ever it still makes me smile today and also his rendition of " Because I love you", great sax solo... Thanks.
I'm a big fan of the 80's music artist thank u for sharing how they look at present❤. Duran2, tears for fears, spandau ballet are my favorite boy bands. Bananarama, swing out sister , ace of base are among my fave band with female vocals❤
She wasn't exactly young when she was with Starship. She started out singing for Jefferson Airplane in the 1960's. Have you never heard the song White Rabbit from 1967? Well that's her singing on that song.
I actually saw John Foxx on an escalator in a London tube station a few years back, he smiled at me, and I thought I recognised him, I love his music as well but he was gone too quick, should have said something to him lol.
Mike Rutherford (Michael John Cleote Crawford Rutherford) was born in Guildford, Surrey, not Chertsey. Also born in Guildford was Andrew Latimer, guitarist and founder member of Prog band Camel. The Stranglers were also from Guildford. Founding members of the band The Darkness, Justin Hawkins and his brother Dan were, however, born in Chertsey. I bought some bird food in Chertsey yesterday
I was totally in love with Thereza Bazar in the 80s. As a young man I would have left my girlfriend at the time for her. Later my wife. She was so attractive, cute and petite. And she appears to have aged gracefully unlike some female performers. I still would 😊
@@michaelzzzzzzzzzzzz I think you'll find plenty of people do,and always have done, sad little people like you should learn your facts before you talk about things you obviously know nothing about
Blimey, I bet old Steve Perry wished he'd used some moisturiser on his neck. The rest of him's okay but his neck has aged as well as his lousy music ;)
Best decade ever!!! Thank you for these memories. 😊
not as good as the 70's
@@sallyjoan Agree. The 60s also tank the flipping 80s.
Yes the 70s for me, but it depends on your age. 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s all great, what have kids got today?
I love the 60's-80's!!
This just made me smile. So glad so many are still with us!
❤️💜💚
amen 🙏
Jeff Lynn might be immortal
Priceless. In what other era could we or have we brought together the then and now of famous people. Like a great family 📖 photo album. Set to music 🎶 You make it possible 🙆 so thanks. 💎
Jeff Lynn looks exactly the same !WOW!😲
Thank you for including John Farnham - one of the best Aussie singers the rest of the world has never heard of.
I am German and my Father was a big fan of John.
English roots 👍🏻

The Godmother of soul, Ms. Patti labelle looks great! She turns 80 tomorrow! 🎉
Glad I grew up enjoying the wonderful 80's, there will never ever be another decade like the 80 's!!!
Thumbs up!! Wonderfully presented!!! No fake thumbnails!!! Will now watch the rest!!!!! Well done!!
So glad I grew up in this era today's kids just won't get what a decade 😁
Most of these stars have aged really well.
none of them have.
@@sallyjoanyes a few has!!

That would be make-up, cosmetic surgery and professional, sympathetic photography.

Unreal how Jeff Lynne had stayed exactly the same... and not only in these two photos, but really.
Seen shakin stevens and bananarama, many times
What a decade the 80s were
Wow, this video was incredible! The emotional journey it took me on was unforgettable, thanks in large part to my idol's brilliant acting
Thankyou for including my hero, John Farnham. He isn't included in enough compilations. xx

I seen marti pellow ..lead singer for wet wet wet ..brilliant singer . Very energetic performer
With those songs! When he was younger, he was way too in love with his own voice and it sounded too overblown and embarrassing, as were the songs.
80s I miss it so much. 😢
Thanks for the best video ever and I did see Journey in concert back in 2009. Best concert ever!
Ben voillepere out of curiosity killed the cat looks like a junkie !!! 😂
Tanita Tikarum looks like a completely different person😮!
I think you could be right
The best❤
LIMAHL from KAJAGOOGOO will be 66 YEARS OLD in DECEMBER -

Grace Slick looks ancient. I remember her from Starship. I didn’t think she was that old.
She wasn't exactly young when she was with Starship.
She started out singing for Jefferson Airplane in the 1960's.
Have you never heard the song White Rabbit from 1967?
Well that's her singing on that song.
She could look better with some makeup and fix her hairstyle better. 😮
Steve Perry and Sammy Hagar are 75 and 76? What??! Wow!!
Air Supply And Chicago
next video i want to see, Joey Tempest from the Band EUROPE 😍 thx
Why is Jeff Lynne not sir jeff great video love 💞 it

Journey and air supply. Still listening today.
Yes iv seen shaking Stevens I 2017 iv seen him many times before he was amazingxx
Daryl Hall's voice will always be phenomenal to me! I have seen Hall and Oates in concert as well.as Bryan Adams in the 80's in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Colin Gibb passed away back in June, saw his show many many times around Las Americas in Tenerife,he had just announced his retirement also.😢😢
I've seen Donnie Wahlberg perform with NKOTB several times. He sure does know how to get the crowd going!
Bryan Adams ❤❤
Keren from Bananarama still looks and sounds amazing!!
she really does not
Clark is wonderful
I don't remember half of those people.
Then again I was into hardcore punk and thrash metal back in the 80's.
Someone needs a refresher in 4th grade arithmetic 😊
Geoff Lyn still looks the same amazing
Thought I’d drop a little reminder that before Mike + the Mechanics, Mike Rutherford was in Genesis. Pretty sure he was a founding member.
John Farnham has turned into Hugh Bonneville!
Saw George Michael, when he was with Wham and seen Thin Lizzy amongst others.

Cure U2 Depeche Mode Sisters Of Mercey.
paul young now looks like graham norton
Richard Marx is far better looking now than he was when he was younger. So is Stevie B.
no they are not.
Mike Rutherford should be Genesis. Since he was one of the founding members.
Colin Gibb passed away recently!
Daryl Hall
I must say the guys have aged better than the girls😂😂😂
If Florence and the Machine broke down, could Mike and the Mechanics repair them?
I hardly recognised Tanita Tikaram and she’s my age. She’s lost a lot of weight! 😳
We have Mark Mothersbaugh to thank for the creation of musk and he created his own church (the name escapes me).
The church of subgenius.
All the guys seem to still have a good head of hair. Hmmmm...
Jeff lyn
8:43 😨😨😨😨😱😱😱😱😱😱
Thereza Bazar hasn't worn well, sadly. At least she's not had any plastic surgery. Desireless not much better.
Massive drug problem she had. It shows to. She was so pretty.
Where’s Robbie Nevil?
You didn't say which band Paul McCartney was in.
The Beatles then Wings.
😆😆
That’s brilliant!! Crying with laughter!!
I actually thought it was jamiroquai.
So obvious who's had work... the natural women look so much better...
Thomas Anders
Some are seriously not looking amazing.
