i love txt but hybe should've made them go on more variety shows (like amazing saturday, knowing bros, the manager, baek jongwon's alley resturaunt, and other regular korean shows that aren't exclusively for idols) they probably wouldn't have to be called bts' little brother if people actually saw them on tv. i'd go even farther that the way they aren't korean variety shows is why so many people still treat them like rookies and still treat them as if they aren't in their 3rd year. because even if some people don't pay attention to korean variety shows, the General Public and other kpop fans WILL pay attention. Even BTS went on variety shows like running man, king of masked singer, immortal songs, and other shows where it wasn't just idols. TXT should be promoting on more korean variety shows if HYBE truly values the korean market and the korean public to know TXT's names. i love txt but hybe should've made them go on more variety shows (like amazing saturday, knowing bros, the manager, baek jongwon's alley resturaunt, and other regular korean shows that aren't exclusively for idols) they probably wouldn't have to be called bts' little brother if people actually saw them on tv.
i'd go even farther that the way they aren't korean variety shows is why so many people still treat them like rookies and still treat them as if they aren't in their 3rd year. because even if some people don't pay attention to korean variety shows, the General Public and other kpop fans WILL pay attention. Because variety shows are fun and its an easy way of going viral for being talented, funny, cute, etc.
because txt hasn't been on a lot of these regular korean variety shows, people still treat them as if they're only BTS' younger brother because truthfully, they haven't had their moment to actually gain fame from these variety shows and to show off their own personalities to the public.
txt are good, but the public still doesn't care about them yet, because they haven't made the general public care. not every idol can have the attention of the general public, so of course they have to make themselves stand out. TXT just hasn't been able to get that chance.
Its not something I blame them for, I blame Hybe for not taking proper care of TXT's domestic popularity. global fame is very important, but if they focus solely on global, they make TXT miss out the chance to have fun and be on these korean variety shows. because its not just idols here, it includes all kind of celebs like athletes, regular korean singers (not kpop), comedians, famous MCs, and just popular tv personalities.
I hope someone would tell this to hybe/bighit music
but you know mybe bang pd dont want them to be mistreated just like bts. i agree about txt is great but the public still don’t really recognise them. they are on their 2nd year. and 2 years is not tht long enough for kpop group. they still hv a long way to go. and i can say tht they are just about to start. 2nd year and 3rd year are when they’re starting to get more mature and i believe ppl will recognise them soon. so i dont really think the bts lil brother title is something we should be worried of unless they only talk about bts when introducing txt. plus txt come from a company tht only have 2 boy groups. so its understandable
@@yuzusskate7088 i mean but thats always the risk. in amazing saturday, beomgyu was talking about how he always wanted to be on these korean variety shows. so its clear that they WANT to be on these shows, but bighit isn't ;etting them. TXT are on their 3rd year, they aren't rookies anymore. but people still think they are because of how few activities they have in korean variety shows. Even BTS went on variety shows like running man, king of masked singer, immortal songs, and other shows where it wasn't just idols.
I can understand bighit and their hesitance, but it looks completely unjustified since out of all times BTS went on variety shows, they were only mildly disrespected once. TXT should be promoting on more korean variety shows if HYBE truly values the korean market and the korean public to know TXT's names.
Not all international fans watch korean variety shows, but a lot do and a lot of korean people also watch the korean variety shows. Those variety shows is a good way of promotion and if they're funny, they'll become viral and thus the public knows them. It makes absolutely no sense to stop TXT from becoming big nationally in korea.

usually a 2 or 3 years kpop group would not really get noticed by the public in s.korea. a lot of kpop group got their first win on music shows on their 3rd year or even longer. but txt, ppl actually know tht they're a boy group tht comes from the same company as bts. ppl actually recognised them and check them out since their early days. so i think thts a bonus point for them. even by being 'bts lil brother' helps them to get recognised. and now, after their 3rd year or even sooner, they will shine on their own. they will grow. and the title bts lil brother will gone.
like i said im not trying to say calling them bts lil brother is fine or a good thing. but its not really a bad thing and understandable.

@@yuzusskate7088 nah it's all good. im just explaining why some moas are very frustrated that txt have been so heavily overshadowed. and its really because bighit knows that they're labelmates with bts, but bighit doesn't actually try to make the public see them as txt by promoting them on TV.
your statements weren't offensive, so it's ok. I'm just voicing my frustration at bighit for even letting this situation get so out of hand. Because I do understand being called their senior's second version, because all big companies are like that, but usually it goes away after 1-2 years. But for TXT it's just been stuck to them like glue for so long that even Yeonjun talked about how he hated being called a second someone.
Its just frustrating to see people always calling them a second BTS, since even Enhypen weren't called a third BTS nor a second TXT. Whereas TXT has just been stuck with this label for the past 3 years. It's weird.
And I don't blame you for not seeing it as much as problem, but I'm just mad that HYBE clearly isn't prioritizing their korean popularity. Because even if hybe doesn't like variety shows, the idols and fans like me DO like watching korean variety shows. I just really want BigHit to do something about this situation because they think trying to ignore it will make it go away, but it just hasn't.

I dont know y it is so controversial to mention them as bts little brothers. It is true. If we keep being sensitive about such things things will get awkward between them(bts and txt). They consider each other as family, like how jimin calls them babies. I dont see y its such an issue.
It's not that being BTS's younger brother is bad, it's just they are more than that. But for now, they are just getting their names out there. The general public doesn't really know them, in order to bring hype around the group they use the phrase "Bts's younger brother" once they grow bigger, they will be known for their own name.
