RM was working on this project RPWR for months before he enlisted. He would come on Weverse live and talk to ARMY's and tell us what he was doing. Not spiolers, but just that he was working on music. And RM likes that hairstyle and wears it like that sometimes, it wasn't about the military at the time. He was working with San Yawn (Creative Director and Producer) with Balming Tiger (alternative K-Pop group) whom RM also did a collaboration with on Sexy Nukim.

Yes he did this just before leaving for the military. But he shaved his head quite a few months before. I think it’s for the concept of his album. Basically this album is of him, Kim Namjoon. Not RM of bts. I think he wanted to shave his head for this album to strip himself of anything “idol” and just to be ordinary him. He said he shaved his head because it was hot in Korea. But that was before this album was announced so he had to give us some excuse. This album as well as the listening video he had with Jimin explaining the meaning behind the album is quite heart breaking. I highly suggest you give it a watch. You’ll have a better appreciation for the album after understanding it.
During his performance during the D-day concert he said he buzzed his hair during the summer just because the long hair was too hot.
After listening to it a lot, it reminds me of Beastie Boys, something they would do today.
This album is really giving vibrations of “I'm doing what I want” and I'm totally in favor of it. Kim Namjoon is taking everything inside him and building such a unique genre. I like how it has become increasingly honest over the years. Although they are required to act in a certain way to feed the illusions of others, only the really brave can refuse. They can withstand hatred and move on and still be themselves. To show the world your light and your dark side. I love it to him. Honesty matches him. Keep your universe expanding RM!💜👏👏
The album is really good. I've been streaming it and I'm awaiting for my physical copy to arrive from South Korea. I have my confirmation it's on it's way.

bts whether for group or solo albums/eps/mixtapes will released at least 2 music videos sometimes more.
rm released 3 so far not sure if there will be more because for example V released 5 music videos for his album/ep.
i dont think theres ever been a bts album release where there was only 1 video.
also any music video released unless stated as a single means theres way more songs without music videos so dont just stick to music video songs youre missing out on so much if you do. :)
