Theme team is persona 5
Enamorus is based off one of the 4 guardians which is the black turtle with a snake tail Genbu in Japanese or Xuanwu in Chinese so it totally fits the team theme. All the Therian forms are based on the 4 guardians the others being a Tiger, Dragon and Phoenix.
Like Dranzer (phoenix), Driger (tiger), Dragoon (seiryū), & Draciel (genbu)?
So Thundurus-T is supposed to be Seiryu, Tornadus-T is Suzaku, and Landorus-T is Byakko? Huh.
@@ArztVT The gems on the Belly's of the Therian forms match the guardian they relate to. Torn has a Red One, Thund has a Blue One and Lando has a White One.

I can confirm that Skyla's team is based on Persona 5's Phantom Thieves. I had a hunch with "Joker", but "Morgana" confirmed my suspicion.
Blastoise is a classic wonder but I do adore Turtonator's combination of the obscure mata-mata turtle and a landmine.
I'm so pissed Turtonator isn't in this game. One of my favorite pokémon.
Enamorus is actually a turtle! It’s based off of the Black Tortoise of the North in chinese mythology, a turtle with a snake. It also looks like a lot like a soft shelled turtle, with the thin body and long snout. So good pokemon to use for this team.

Terapagos is my new favorite turtle Pokémon. I like how it's based on that one time-travelling turtle with a fluffy tail from Japanese mythology. Not only that, it's so cute which makes it so adorable. So cute, yet deadly.

Yeah. Pokemon made sure you couldn't double dip. I both happy and sad that the Tera + Technician interaction doesn't work.
I love Torterra's design, based on the earth on the back of a turtle. With it being turtles all the way down.
Though my favorite turtle Pokemon is also my favorite Pokemon. That being Blastoise.

enamorus appears to be based on some sort of soft shell turtle so it's really not pushing it

I recently became a huge TOARKOAL fan. I always used to call it a waste until I gave it a chance and has pulled me a lot of wins and got me out of bad scenarios with clear smog. Toarkoal number 1 turtle :)

With megas z moves gigantimax and now terastalizing if all those gimmicks were in the same game you could use a ninja turtle team with blastroise using one of the four gimmicks

First foe: "Gasurai", rendered as a foreign word. I have no idea what word they're trying to emulate. The second was "Koume Kokichi", just putting his whole name out there. For the last team, some people might say "You'll never see it coming", but I guessed what it would be from the first pokemon. Interestingly, I actually named my Meowskerada "Morgana" after Persona 5. Also, if you're wondering what the deal is with Enamorus's Therian forme, it's completing the set of the Four Divine Beasts from Japanese/Chinese/Korean mythology. A jade dragon represents East/Spring, a crimson bird represents South/Summer, a white tiger represents West/Autumn, and a black tortoise represents North/Winter. The tortoise, called Gen-bu by the Japanese, often is depicted with a snake for a tail (sometimes the snake has its own head, sometimes not). Obviously Enamorus is bright pink instead of black, but none of the genies are the right color. They wanted to still include the serpentine part, at least.
Also, I love Torkoal. He was on my team during my first run of Pokemon Ruby 20 years ago. When Ash added him to his team, I just said "Good, this is proper." I was devastated that I couldn't trade off my Kilnroy from said game back in the day, so I raised a new one in Omega Ruby as tribute. Then they gave him Drought the next generation, and suddenly everyone loved my lil' guy, too.
