Tim is overly politicized! And misrepresented. I couldn’t stand him at first, he was so intense and often came off angry…and my PTSD hadn’t been diagnosed yet, I was having daily panic attacks, so he probably came off, to me, as more intense and angry than he really was. But then I started hearing him make a lot of really good points, taking me to the stage where you hate agreeing with someone you can’t stand. It’s so dumb, he’s painted as far right, but he’s an independent thinker who was a leftie, but now is more libertarian. He looks at things from multiple angles, he doesn’t discriminate based on political ideology and has brought people from every point on the political spectrum onto his podcast…and does NOT attack their views. His close friends and podcast regulars have vastly different political views, they provide something rare now…a show that presents views from multiple ideologies discussed RESPECTFULLY. It’s his journalistic integrity that I really respect, although he doesn’t refer to himself as a journalist. When he reports a story, I can trust that he’s researched it and it’s delivering the most true facts available at the time the story is posted. Yes, he adds commentary, but he clarifies what is his opinion vs the facts of the case. Another thing that is politicized, but shouldn’t be is the drummer that Tim was lucky enough to score for the band. The Offspring kicked their drummer out of the band for not getting vaccinated. He had Guillain-Barré syndrome and his doctor advised that people with this disorder should not get the vaccine.
