I’ve only had my top separate when I piped the day after😔 But all I did was “glue” it back on with a little clear melt-n-pour and a paint brush😉 Worked like a charm! Beautiful soap❤️
The Mica lines are fantastic...the soaps gorgeous. You finished the top nicely before the piping, so I wouldn’t be upset it fell off. I actually like it better without the piping. Thanks for your well done instructions...I’m going to give it a go.
The soap and mica swirls are beautiful enough to stand alone & don't need a piped top. You could rinse the salt off the runaway piping, grate it & use for "confetti" in another soap :-)
Hiya! Welcome to the world of soap making. Both my oils and my lye are room temperature. At this point in my soaping journey, I was making multiple batches of lye at one time, in individual glad/rubbermaid disposable containers. This way I could make soap when the mood struck me, without having to wait for the lye to cool down. I do much the same today, except I just make a big batch of lye-water in one container and measure it out as needed.
it might have been! The oils appeared to be absorbed into the soap by that point, though. You really only have a 48 hour window to pipe a top, and I think I didn't get time until after that. Thanks for the compliment!!

haha I considered it! I think, at the time, I was all out of M&P - but I'm glad to know I can use it as glue in the future! Thanks!

When you make more soap. Just stick it back together. Or use melt and pour like glue. It looks 👍🏻
Очень тонкие красивые свирлы получились!!!!!!!))))

Thank you! I'll probably rebatch it or something. I don't plan on throwing it out anyways!
Won’t the line of mica and oil make the soap fall apart
I would save the piping part and embed it into the top of another batch of soap :) It's beautiful anyway!
Would it stick to the top if you glued it with melt and pour ?
I would use the tops as embeds for another soap💖🐾
The Soap is cute on its own, use the piping as an inbed, it would look cool 💐
Thanks for this video. Im a beginner CP soap maker. At what temp did you pour your lye into the oils? thanks

The mica in oil looks gorgeous! Too bad with the top separating, but I agree that the soap looks lovely on its own. Thanks for sharing!
Guess you could use the top of the soap to make some kind of embeds.
I'm sure I'll figure out something to do with it. Thanks for the suggestion!
Awe, so sorry, I had similar issues with an embed soap, I had too many embeds and it separated. Nice color combination and swirls
Oh gosh, sorry you had trouble like this too! Thanks for the compliment!
I think it may have been the loose oils from the mica that caused it to not adhere. Great concept and beautiful soap, top or no top!!

You have a beautiful light coloured soap, How do you get such a light colour naturally
Great big tops of icing put me off a soap. It looks a very pretty loaf and bars of soap look so beautiful
Beautiful soap none the less ⭐️
Buy a rubber mat...this is great
A rubber mat is a great idea! Thanks for the suggestion!
