Hey Tom, hope your keeping well mate, I start TM111 in a few days, Iv enrolled on the CyberSec Degree and rightly looking forward to it, were you a bit taken back by the whole thing at the start of it all too? just feeling a bit blasted with information lol.
It depends on the module, for my maths I got sent all 4 books as well as everything else for the module a week or two before it started, however some modules send a book at the start of each section of that module. Roughly once every 3 or so months etc.
I chose MST124 as I thought it would benefit me long term to learn the "harder" maths unit, I probably was a bit cocky with my selection as I had never really struggled with Maths in school etc. I found it very difficult and have postponed half of the unit until next year to give me more time to catch up. Ultimately, if you know your algebra and have no issues with it then you should be fine. They do start off slow and build up but I just got lost whilst also studying my other units.

Hey Jason, sorry for the late reply, hopefully all is well but yes feeling overwhelmed is perfectly normal, I'm sure you've got used to it by now
Hi Tom, do they send all the books for one specific module all in one go?

Tom, how long altogether would you say you study each week, including tutorials?
Hi Tom, can I ask you why did you choose MST124 over MU123 and how was it?
