Meet the expert: Sabine Verschueren

Sabine Verschueren is a professor of musculoskeletal rehabilitation at KU Leuven and the head of the Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation Research Group. Her research focuses on improving the physical health and quality of life of diverse populations, including children with cancer. She is passionately committed to developing research and solutions that enhance physical and mental resilience. Prof. Verschueren is a driving force behind the new PACE (Physical Activity and exerCisE in oncology) focus group and the creation of One Team Against Cancer, an initiative that helps children resume sports activities during and after cancer treatment.
