Thank you for contacting Health Careers. If you’re thinking of coming to the UK to live and work, you’ll need to get permission from UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI). You may need entry clearance before travelling here too. To work in the UK as an audiologist, you’ll need to register with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). If you have questions regarding registration procedures, it’s best to contact them directly: www.hcpc-uk.org/
It’s important that you understand the UK Visas and Immigration points-based system and how it will apply to you. You’ll also need to meet the skilled worker criteria before you can apply to live and work here.
Have a look at our overseas health professionals web page for more detailed information and useful links, including UK Visas and Immigration: www.healthcareers.nhs.uk/working-health/overseas-health-professionals/overseas-health-professionals
If you need to find out what your overseas qualifications are equivalent to in the UK, you can contact a service called ENIC: www.enic.org.uk/
Once you’re ready to take the next step, have a look at the NHS Jobs website: www.jobs.nhs.uk for vacancies. Most NHS vacancies are advertised there so it’s a good idea to set up an account on the site. The individual pages in our explore roles section also have lots of further information and useful links to look for vacancies so you may find them helpful too.
      Best wishes,
      Health Careers Team
