Ah, to hear Namie’s voice again is a blessing, thank you for the interview! Thank you for never giving up drawing, Namie! May it continue to bear fruit for you!
It's been nothing short of a privilege watching you and your art grow over the years. May you continue to create beautiful things for as long as you live.
So happy for Namie and her solo exhibition. Very proud of her. She's definitely been one of my biggest inspirations when it comes to art, so I'm glad she has an opportunity to showcase her amazing skills in such a setting.
Namie was one of the reasons why I picked up digital art and I absolutely admire her since the early Deviantart days. I really miss those days, and all the livestreams, but I’m so proud to see what she has achieved by now. Thank you Namie-senpai!! ✨🥹
Namie is a great artist and i'm very happy she was invited to do this interview 💙 please consider inviting Nagu as well, her art pieces are very inspiring to many of us 🥺
I am so proud of Namie-sensei. I think it’s very rare to create a “style” of one’s own. She is one of the rare exceptions where when I look at a piece of hers, I immediately know who is the artist. It’s lovely she is getting more and more recognition.💙💛
My heart is happy and my being is blessed to hear Narmie's voice again. I missed her so much . I am so glad she is well and, of course, that she continues to bless us with such extraordinary art. 🙏
I still have the art swap I did with Namie back in like I think it was 2008! It's so crazy to look at it and see how far Namie has come as an artist, definitely much further than I have, and it is honestly inspiring to just keep going! Congrats on the art exhibition!
I remember discovering Namie about 10 years ago through her pokemon fan art on tumblr. Her art is so influential for me, she will always be someone I admire. I also forgot how I missed hearing her voice! I hope so many more opportunities and good health will bless her in the coming year. Congratulations again on the pixiv exhibition, Namie! 🥺💞
I understand that when she's actually getting paid work as a professional illustrator it probably would not be a good look to still be drawing Pokémon fanart all the time but... man, I do miss her Pokémon fanart though... brb I'm gonna go pester TPC to hire her to do Pokémon card artwork.
Been an admirer of Namie's work since way back in her Pokemon fan-art days. I was struck by the life and realism she put into the world and characters. So cool to see her doing so many big things now!
namie... it's nice to hear her voice, and learn more about her 💛as an artist,💛 and her history. So It's relatable. Even if i barely draw myself anymore, i'll always admire artists.
I mainly know Namie from her work on the Fate series, it always amazes me how she can fit so many shapes and colors and it doesn't feel overwhelming, it just works. Her art always feel soft, fluffy, happy and dynamic.
Namie-sensei is an inspiration herself for many artists including me. I loved getting to hear a bit of how her artist journey went, and I'm really happy for her with the current exhibition going on 🎉 Everything she makes is so lovely and cool, I love Namie-sensei art so much 🥰
As a teacher, I can understand why teachers might not "get" when you want to do something artistic. Like, it's good to let your students have their passion, but as a teacher you also want them to get that sometimes passion can only get you so far. I recall one student who declared that they wanted to drop out of school to become a Pro Streamer because they were hearing how much money people like Mr Beast were pulling in, and naturally I had to point out that for ever Mr. Beast, there are countless people who don't make it big. But at the very least, it's a situation where I don't think I'd mind being proven wrong. "Oh! I didn't think it would work out, but you actually are able to make a living out of this passion of yours! Good for you!"
Congrats to Namie on her first solo exhibition! As a longtime fan, it has been a joy to watch her grow. I had fun at Drawfest where she gave some cool tips with textures & answered helpful questions from fellow artists in the live chat. 😊 Thank you so much, pixiv, for this DrawTube interview!
Namie is actually the reason why I took up drawing recently again. I was burnt out for so many years, but she somehow made that spark light up again. I haven't made anything "real" yet, I'm still mostly focusing on studying art, but she definitely has inspired me a lot, and I hope she knows that. I really wish I could properly show my never-ending gratitude to her.
The way Namie-sen's character's eyes light up the room! She's such a fascinating artist and her story is so relatable. You're such an inspiration and congrats on your solo exhibition!
Congrats Namie!!! It’s so nice to hear your voice again and talk about how you got into drawing in the first place! Seriously congrats on your first ever solo exhibition!!! Let’s goooooo!!💛
