Especially here since he’s being asked very personal questions- he’s careful with his answers and I respect his privacy. People get confused when you say an actor can be shy because their job is so public, but there is difference between that and a one on one interview with someone. Brad gets shy and a little nervous, he’s human. I think he’s making more of an effort lately to put himself out there and plug his films for the studios and filmmakers. Great guy, love him.

When you got to the interview part about his personal life and how he felt he needed to deal with the past journey of this life, it was good to hear that he is not running, but sitting in whatever it is/was and dealing with it. Troubles come and go but are never forgotten and that's why we must investigate the feelings we give, and the ones we take, and try our best to learn from them, the school of life is our own, we've become older and WISER in hopes not to make those same choices in life that weren't beneficial. I am looking forward to seeing this movie.

I think being married to her would make one want to drink! His choice of course, but they started their relationship based in dishonesty. He was married. He hurt someone terribly to be w/her. Who knows what unconcious inner turmoil he might have had as a result. Again, self inflicted. But I also think she could be a very difficult, demanding person to live with. Their parenting outlooks were very different. Big trouble was brewing w/6 growing kids. I'm sure he surpressed a lot to try to keep t/ peace & keep hanging on. (i.e. "Oh yeah, another drink sounds like a real good idea!").

@@coldwinter5710 - Yea, being married to an intelligent, caring, compassionate woman, who for years was considered to be one of the most beautiful women in the world - must have been really tough on old Brad. Guess looking at her thru the bottom of a bottle distorted his - and perhaps your - perception
Stop believing the B~S you read in tabloids ... she has always treated Brad with kindness and support, and ONLY after Brad went berserk several years ago in a drunken yelling tirade aimed at his oldest son on their private plane... who was just trying to protect his mother.... did the extent of Brad's out of control abusive alcoholism reach the media - yet fools like you want to blame the very people who suffered the most due to Brad's addiction.
Also, your uneducated 'blame the victim' mentally is cruel and long outdated. Brad by his own admission has been abusing alcohol and drugs most of his adult life - and even apologized to Jennifer Aniston for 'checking out" of their relationship by hiding behind drugs - rather than deal honestly with their issues.
Keep in mind the expression "MEAN DRUNK' came into being for good reason. Most drunks are angry, obnoxious and aggressive and a NIGHTMARE to live with. The damage they inflict on their children ... will last a lifetime. Brad now realizes that - too bad that concept is beyond your understanding.

23 years of being a fan and I say I am happy that he is honest about his flaws. The first step is acknowledgement and then healing. Brad is looking better than ever now. I wish him happiness and healing.

that's it. We are all flawed. We make mistakes. A big one and small ones. He messed up. And paid for it. But life should be about what you do next. How you fall and the way you get up. He is trying to change and be better. That should be celebrated and supported.

Here in France, Brad Pitt is hugely appreciated and highly considered as one of the most remarkable american on earth, maybe more than Dicapro much more tortured and complex
