Rui talked about the reason why he was so pissed in an interview with Japanese reporter. He said Roddy still pulled my arm even after Konchar threw me off balance. It’s okay playing physical but not dirty. Those types of dirty plays can cause us serious injuries. And I couldn’t just let him get away with it though he did something very dirty, so I told him that.

When the player you are guarding is falling from your teammate tripping them, you can stop them from shooting AND make sure they don't get hurt, instead Roddy just fouls the crap out of him again. I wanted to like the Grizzlies, but this whole year I see a ton of stupid taunting, Ja glamorizing guns and being violent off court (multiple instances), and the team just fouls the crap out of everyone. They could easily be given twice as many foul calls.

Even though in slow motion it didn't seem much but Konchar's push on Rui's back while he was sprinting down the court was a cheap dirty play and AD's quick reaction to it proved it...

Yes he probably was more mad about the shove in the back but it's just him not fucking with the whole Grizzlies team for playing dirty.
No doubt in my mind Lebron getting intentionally hit in the groin triggered him. If there was anyone on the Lakers who would get mad from that it's Rui who missed half his rookie season from a groin injury that required surgery.
Fuck anyone or team that tries to win by injuring the opponent.

It's funny how the perception of Memphis has changed throughout this season. All the shit with Ja and Brooks has turned them into a team that people will jump at hating on for anything. I'm not saying I disagree with it, I don't like the Grizzlies, it's just interesting.

and it's not necessarily a bad thing. Every great hero needs an equally great villain and memphis is that. Memphis provides something that the league has been missing for years and that's true rivalry. Something that gets teams and fans excited / motivated to play.

The foul was already called cuz first dude pushed him in the back so the other dude didn't have to try and go for the ball
@@thekings6150 have you ever heard of continuation after a foul is called? That’s why bro went for the block because he didn’t know if the ref was going to count the basket had he made it. So he made the right decision by blocking the shot and he didn’t do anything dirty to Rui at all.
