Hello Yuki! I am wondering about the way of transcribing ! Do you transcribe by Ear? And memorize that ? what’s the next step after transcribing ? How can make that to your own phrase ? You sound amazing 🤩🤩!!
Hello Nicole, Thanks for asking! Yes, I transcribe a recording by ear. If you have difficulty transcribing a recording on RUclips, I’d recommend that you change the speed of the recording. Once you transcribe them, try to memorize it so that you can internalize it. Play along with the record to get feel and nuance. Transcribe any musicians who you like and steal their licks and sound and apply to your own playing. That will create your own voice.
