People hate being proven wrong too, especially after they talked junk about you to everyone or realized they believed a witch or hater about you and you are NOTHING AT ALL what they thought you were...then, after they do all of that, and you succeed anyway and get and do what they said you never would... that's a major hit to their pride. Instead of just admitting ok I was wrong about that person...I missed God on what I thought about him/her or I listened to lies or the wrong people about him/her...to admit that would take humility.
