How modest is Arvin, what a guy
Totally agree, I came from a maintenance / toolroom fitter.
I have no doubt he charges fair value for his work and experience; invoices like that might be alarming but getting the right part the first time is a wise investment.
He's the best asset I've got never let me down once an so humble
Port West work gear is top notch. There based in n Westport County Mayo not far from me in Castlebar County Mayo been over here since 2021 but originally from Stretford Manchester where I drove 8 wheel tippers for various Manchester Contractors
If you could move all them containers from outside you could stick a zap shelter up like Curtis has and use it for painting
upto the landlord.... we working on a plan
Arvin what a humble guy he is legend brilliant man and such a professional man 😊😊
Yup never let me down
The Plasma table is the best bit of kit in the workshop the increase in production will be immense. Webbing on the screen and webbed feet for you and Cal. A great midweek chapter lets crack on lad to the next one.
8am tomoz...
As my old dad used to say when it was pissing rain and we were doing demolition on decomissioned pits using gas axes on the steelwork "what's up we yer yor not made o sugar" a bit of rain won't hurt ya 😂 keep up the content baz and the team, proper enjoy all you do, cheers from sunny spain 😊
cheers for watching and comment bud I wish I was over there at times
Hello lad’s, seeing you up the horseshoe quarry brings back great memories. Spent well over a thousand hours in wind rain sun and snow riding up and down the toughest hills and jumps on dirt bikes in the top and bottom quarries and over the mountains for many year’s before Jones’s took it back over.
Great feed in the cafe opposite Baz.
Just survived the hurricane here in Florida. Nice to relax with you. Pauli in Orlando Florida
Director is a Master Camera Operator!! Great Video and happy to see Cal in the field doing what he loves. TEAM WORK.
The average person wouldn't even think about what happens in large plant on a daily basis.truly amazing stuff.
I just love Arvin too.he is special...
It's just true grit.xx
Couldn't agree more!
Works well 5pm does just as me tea now time to chill and watch your channel good evening team 👍👍👍
Sparky at quarry here! We’ve had a couple of our vibrating screens crack over the years so I’ve seen a lot of welding being done but they always seemed to crack again! Love the midweek episode guys!
Its what happens inevitable but happens a lot faster if not constantly filled up
Aup Baz, as I'm an a chair welder fabber, in order to use the migs when the weather's crap but workable, what about making a tiny pop up frame you can drop a plastic cover over to keep the welder dry and breathable.
Just a thought from my dry warm living room, on a serious note great vidio n content from EVERYONE, take a pat on the back, the lot of yer👍
G'day blokes, Working on those screens is a lot of fun. Cramped , angled, squeezed and bugger all access. I did a simular repair on a little 10x4 663 Supertrak last summer and had the opposite problem with the weather, hot (35c) and windy. cheers from Victoria Australia.
Good on ya mate!
Arvin is the man top engineer, Another great chapter guys
Great to see you back on the plant , seeing you enjoying yourself and feeling like you are where you belong. Role in Saturday for the next one
Another great chapter. Enjoy the young future welder too. Looking forward to more chapters. Cheers.
That part made from a cardboard template is just pure quality
Yeah all Arvin bud
Yes Baz on the tools this is what we’re here for ⚒️
Me too
Arvin absolute legend skills on that piece he did for ya

Some boy that young Sam 🤣
Bet he’s better on the gun than the tutors int college🤣🤣
probably true he's a natural
Went to the Ponderosa cafe on the Horse Shoe pass last saturday on the motorbikes cold windy but dry ,you both earned your money in the quarry that day !!
Hi Baz, It was great to see you and Cal back in the Quarry working in the elements on screaners. That's proper man's work. 👍🏻
Thanks 👍
That work that Arvin puts out is n absolute masterpiece!
He's a legend
You did the right thing by going out to the quarry in that weather,I believe it will go a long way with future work
Quality bit of machinery that plasma table i used to work at a sheet metal fab factory in Coventry as a operator on one like that , weather looked awful on site thank god for that top feeder belt to give yous a bit of cover
Well that's what I call dedication, take my hat off to you.
Most people would have run a mile the other way.
Stay safe
Love a midweek welderfabber
nice to see cal, under the gazebo having is tea and biscuit.🤣🤣
Great to see you back in your natural environment Baz. Quarry work can be soul destroying in that kind of weather but fair play it doesn't bother you too much. Loved the video and hope for more like it in the future.👍
Thanks 👍
Hello Mr welderfabber and Director.
Lovely to see you in your original environment something you like and enjoy doing and the experience you have definitely comes handy. Looking forward to the new time video launch, good for me at least I won't be late leaving for work yes looking forward to it.
You know you’re living when you’re working in the rain all day 😊
Fantastic video Baz. Watching that plasma table is hypnotic worth every penny
Thanks baz great video u and call make a good team fair play keep going from strength to strength u deserve it .
Great video Baz, good to see you back on the screens again. At the end of the video when you looked sick reminded me of my days in the coal business. We were on the east coast in Sunderland and in winter weather was brutal. All our machinery was powerscreen. Titan, cheiftan m100 stacker conveyors and a radial stacker with a rotating boom. We also had a washing plant and loading shovels etc. I was a fitter and welder from 1988-1995. The machinery has changed a lot since then. Love the channel ❤️
Yeah it has but the fundamentals are still the same Chris... head down an get the job done
Great episode Baz. Arvin is a legend. 👍👍👍
thanks rick
Pure hard core well done lads
Loves me abit of midweek WB.
Bazz, I work with this welder who carries a 6x6 pop-up gazebo. He loves it and says it's saved him so much time. He never cancels work because of the weather; he just pops the tent out and builds himself a temporary workshop or he gets his awning out and sets up off the side of the van.
yeah its needed
Arvin is a generation of proper tradesmen, knew all the theory & put it into practice, that man has more mikes on a lathe than most people have on road!!! Also tell wee Sam no fkn about at the technical college, yes he’s the most experienced & coded apprentice in his class, he’s still got a lot to learn though, stick in son you’ll do well!!!, also the wingnut boys are sound boys
Why would you think Sam will fuck about at college?
Awesome video, great work everyone . thank you baz And the director
no worries
Tough conditions to work in but sure beats sitting in an office all day , man’s graft for sure 💪
Terrific upload as always guys loving the content .nice to see Arvin again he’s a modest man that’s for sure.
My lad is 28 now that kid took me back to having him in the Tippers back in the day.
Happy days dropping him off at primary school in an 8 wheeler taking up half the road and about 3 spaces all the mums doing their nut 😂👍🏼
That is awesome!
Best advice you could give a bloke looking to escape the workshop with zero experience plant welding . Great video guys as usual 👌 x
Great episode boys that old plasma table was definitely a good investment
🤘😎🤘🫖☕️🍪🎥👍👍Great video as always and always great to see a forward thinking company getting young folks onto the tools and learning real skills 👍👍
cheers bud

Great video bud nice to see you back out in the mud and rain a proper job well done bud/cal stay safe guys. 👍👍👍👍
Yeah its where I want to be but running a company I cant always be there
Fascinating.
Good afternoon from New York ..
morning afternoon all good
Great job baz and cal
Thanks for sharing guys, brought back some memories with working in the weather ( Not good one's though!we still had our laughs). Some would just want to down tools and camp out until it stops but with plant it's a lot of money sat doing nothing when it's needing repair and needs to be earning it's keep and profit, most have no idea about what goes on to keep things going and when when people are safe and warm in bed at night there is no doubt a few out working the night shift/called out to a stoppage in the rain, snow and ice and carrying out repairs. Thanks for sharing guys, have a great weekend.
Thank vin lad
Another great video from all of your amazing team
thanks bud
Cracking video guys, plasma table looks like it's going to pay for itself. When I was working on site In really bad weather ànd had a shower you felt like you had done a great day's work. Look forward to the next one.
Thanks 👍

love the videos baz and nice to see your baby bro on camera but its like watching one of them morning tv shows and they have a step in presenter cause the normal one is off etc its like what the heck hahahhaha, also mate got the box of samples with the Energy packets, the ice tea packets and the hydration packets with the shaker so looking forward to trying them too a about a week and a half to come to the Republic of Ireland which though was a bit long compared to another German company called EMP that does leather jackets, band t-shirts etc but got the samples and looking forward to trying them and nothing wrong with working in the rain can always dry off in the van
top man
That shindaiwa’s definitely had its exhaust filled a few times 🤣🤣

Great chapter where these muck there’s money one of my grandads old sayings and he was right
Proper bit of advice you gave young sam there baz 👌🏽
And wow Arvin your little Indian father is the man,(True Craftsman)
Just a shame people like him a Dying breed and once his generation hang up there tools that's a skill set lost forever,
Because all this generations won'ts to do is ether be a Influencer or gamer
true grafters at work
Just a quick question Baz regarding the plasma table do the parts need any finishing work for example grinding cleaning up etc or are they ready to go from leaving the table.
yes a little but seconds per item
@@welderfabber It looks like a clean cut, thanks for your answer. Keep up with the informative video I really enjoy them.
Bon Boulo😆😆👍👍
Word of wisdom to people newer in the engineering occupations: Cracks are something to fix but consider carefully how enthusiastically you want to fix them. Don’t make a part that cracks predictably in a reasonably accessible place into one that cracks in less predictable ways in places that are harder to reach.
I dont design them just fix them when they break but, they all break over time this lasted well
Hi mate lve been watching your tube for a while l enjoy all of them especially your defender and your welders though l use li cols and miller's l guess there all the same ! I was wondering how much for one of the jumper for work lm from the USA a retired ironworker but still have my welding certs 13 of the how for one of those WELDFABBER jumper would mine to advertise here for you from England would deeply appreciate and those vans they're bad ass keep up.the good work l know your building the business and about the apprentices you are right here in the states these youngsters don't like to dirty there hands but you're doing the right shit! Keep up the good work never miss an episode BE SAFE!!🇺🇸✌🏼💯👏👏
We just got trademark approved new merch and welding gear built by welders for welders coming soon!
where would you even start if you wanted to do work like Arvin?
I wouldn't know to be honest dying breed!
Do you have any plans on selling branded welding overalls
well we got a trademark and got big plans for it designing our own work gear so sometime yeah
@welderfabber definitely something to add to the work gear 🤘
any more rain you will be doing under water welding
nice
Thanks
👍
@18.40
So basically whilst it's shaking stones , it's also shaking itself to death , won't the box weaken more now it's got welds over the cracks ??????? Or even crack the welds ????.
Not to say BAZ , there not good welds I'm just interested that's all
If they are empty they will break apart in hours so these guys done well to have it last this long
I no this sounds a bit sad but I had a dream about you last night ❤❤😂😂
I gave u a heart but dont get any ideas bud
@@welderfabber it was not that sort of dream
Can Dan do more time on episodes
It will come Director can only do so much we getting more cams so give us time bud
👋☝️☕👌👏🇨🇾👋
🇬🇧👍🙂
I feel sorry for any lad who is better at the job than the tutors but you have to get the papers - ability is no longer a consideration for qualification. Too much emphasis on books over experience.
Your father would probably fail college because he cannot spell some irrelevant words.
Awesome video baz and cal and director what job arvin did for you💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💞💞💞💞💞💪💪💪💪👊👊👊👍👍👍👍
yup legend
That fog made it looks like a Mad Max movie. But I hate royalties
